When I started taking my daughter for maths tuition it was two years ago. We just moved to the UK and she was far behind her peers. Her SAT’s were very poor. Excellent tuition service, my daughter needed support with her English and maths and science and after a few lessons with the staff my daughter was much more confident with English maths science Highly recommend Alpha training the difference they made in such a short time there are all amazing staff are very helpful and its cheap £14 secondary’s school and a primary school is £12 a session for a hour get yourself in contact there are opening half terms as well and do after school sessions the centre is opening from 4 till 8

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing a pupil make progress and become more confident in a subject they previously struggled with is probably the most rewarding part of what we do. We work with pupils from primary school through to A-Level, and every child comes to us for a different reason. Whether it is catching up, preparing for an exam or aiming for a higher grade, seeing that progress makes the work worthwhile.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always enjoyed building and developing businesses, but education is particularly rewarding because you can see the difference good teaching and the right support can make. Alpha Tuition has grown around the needs of local families, and having a team of experienced teachers who genuinely care about the pupils they teach is an important part of that.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our tuition is delivered by experienced, qualified teachers who understand the UK curriculum and the demands pupils face at each stage of their education. We offer both small group and one-to-one tuition and support pupils from Key Stage 1 through to A-Level. Some pupils need help catching up or rebuilding confidence, while others are preparing for exams or aiming for higher grades. We focus on what each individual pupil needs rather than using the same approach for everyone.

Tutoring Services
Alpha Tuition provides professional tuition for pupils from Key Stage 1 through to A-Level, delivered by experienced, qualified teachers.
We support pupils in Maths, English, Science, Geography and History, including primary tuition, SATs preparation, secondary tuition, GCSE preparation and resits, and A-Level tuition.
Pupils come to us for different reasons. Some need help catching up or rebuilding confidence, some are preparing for important exams, and others are already doing well but want to work towards higher grades. We can also provide additional support for SEND learners where appropriate.
We offer small group and one-to-one tuition. Our small classes allow teachers to identify gaps in understanding and give pupils much more individual attention than would normally be possible in a school classroom.
Tuition is based around the individual pupil rather than a one-size-fits-all programme. We look at where support is needed, build stronger foundations and gradually develop confidence and independence.
Face-to-face tuition is available at our centre at 116 Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough, with online tuition also available. We support families from Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar and across Teesside.
