Personal Care
Our Personal Care package includes Skin care i.e bathing, showering, hair wash, shaving. We also support in giving oral hygiene and nail care (fingernail care are only for non-diabetic). Continence management such as toileting, catheter care and stoma care. Meal preparations and assistance with eating and drinking are also included.
Dementia Care
Providing the right support for people with Dementia is vital for their safety, quality of life and well-being. AKAY Care offers support to Dementia patients whose needs can still be safely met at home. We will persevere to ensure that our service user is comfortable, well- nourished and safe in their environment without the feeling of being isolated. They will be assisted with their chosen activities indoors or outdoors where it is ‘safe.’
Physical Disability
AKAY Care provides personal care and assistance for adults aged 18 to 65 with physical disabilities. Our registered manager will conduct a head-to-toe assessment and will formulate or review care plans if it is up-to-date and suitable for our service user’s needs.
Companionship
This service is all about promoting our service user’s physical, emotional, social and psychological well-being. Our carers can accompany our service user for leisure outings, group meetings or exercise, shopping, church service, theatre plays and concerts, walk in the park, meeting with friends and family, or going to local shops.
