I contacted Jill to help me get fit after years of of lack of excersise, I wanted her to help me get prepared for a tough mudder event and she listened to what I wanted to achieve and was fantastic in helping me get there, she worked a programme out bespoked to me and I am over the moon at the results worth every hour and every penny thank you Jill James

Jill is simply the best, tough but supportive with a great sense of fun for her "childlike" clients - animal star charts have kept me going through my 50 x 5k challenge - topping my best 5k time with a 30 + second improvement and hitting my goals with 9 days remaining - thanks Boss.

My personal training began end of sept, in the few months Jill has been working with me my fitness and food knowledge has immensely improved.

I went to Jill to get from 0 to half marathon in 6 months - and she got me there! It was a tough journey but Jill was there for me every step of the way with help, support and encouragement - I would highly recommend Jill to anybody looking for a personal trainer.

I started my personel training with jill in January as i wanted to loose weight and tone up for my Summer wedding. I have found Jill to be very professional and friendly and very reliable. Jill is always enthusiastic and encouraging through my workout sessions and even though its a tough workout she makes it enjoyable and fun. I look forward to my twice weekly sessions and i have had fantastic reaults in weight loss. I take a broad and individual approach to Personal Training that provides support across many parts of health and fitness: nutrition, lifestyle, activity, fitness testing, progress tracking, posture and of course strength/cardio fitness - I believe good PT is about more than just a brief 1-2-1 training session.

If needed I will work closely with you to look at exactly what you want to achieve, what your personal barriers to fitness are, and what motivates you most, and will use multiple fitness checks to understand where your current fitness levels, strengths and weaknesses are. You can expect simple, professional and informed advice at all times - I don't follow fads or gimmicks, or try to upsell products or diet plans.

I love the fact that everyone I meet in my job is different and individual.

I know that everyone has different goals and different things that stop them from reaching those goals - my approach is always unique for everyone I work with. I spend as much time as necessary getting to understand my client's needs and what motivates them. I don't think good Personal Training is about promises of quick wins, because these are often short lived. Instead I try to work with people to put in place positive long-term changes.

Services

1-2-1 personal training at your home or workplace, using a variety of professional fitness equipment. All training is completely individual and includes fitness checks, training plans, home workouts, corrective exercises, telephone/text support in between sessions and nutrition advice written specifically for you to support your personal goals.

Outdooor training on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups, in beautiful surroundings. This is NOT Boot Camp training, but tailored personal fitness using outdoor surroundings. From £20 per person, including fitness portfolios and nutrition support.

1-2-1 consultation and fitness checks, a Personal Fitness Programme with home workouts, strength and CV training, stretches and corrective exercises tailored for you, nutrition advice, diet reviews, online database to track your progress/access your workouts and a weekly telephone consultation. From £15 pw.

Running can be one of the most satisfying, relaxing and beneficial forms of exercise, but many runners place undue stress on their joints through poor technique. Others are put off by exercising outdoors in front of people, or simply don't know where to start. I will analyse your running technique and muscle balance, teach you how to warm up and cool down safely, give you exercises to improve posture and reduce the risk of running injury, accompany you on outdoor runs and develop a personalised running programme to get your fitness up to whatever level you want to achieve. I cater for both complete beginners and advanced runners - clients who have come to me lacking the confidence to exercise outdoors now run regularly with friends and take part in Park Runs and 5k's. I also help competitive runners improve their Personal Bests - I will train with you, pace you for optimum benefit, review your training schedule and make sure you are genuinely pushed to reach your potential. As with all personal training, everything is supported with advice on nutrition whether for weight loss, energy, muscle growth or race-day preparation.

Qualified with Level 3 Pre & Post Natal Exercise, I will help you to understand the changes taking place in your body and respond through your exercise programme; ensure correct posture during exercise; make sure exercise intensity is safe and right for your stage of pregnancy; advise on good nutrition for you and your baby during pregnancy. After your baby is born, I can support you with gentle activity, stretches and work on your pelvic floor and monitor your physical revovery until it is safe to recommence your structured programme. I will then support you with the best ways to recover and stay active while caring for your baby, and will happily fit in around your new family life.
