Team arrived on time and started at once. Generally very good clean to hall carpet. Pointed out moth damage which we will be dealing with. Kitchen carpet generally good but failed to remove a significant brown stain. Not sure whether they moved the piano to clean under. I recently had an issue where my daughter's puppy chewed the stair carpet, pulling a long thread and damaging the hessian backing. Thankfully, I had some spare offcuts and contacted Northstar to help with the repair. From the initial contact with Gary, to the completed job, the service was excellent. Matt and Keanu were very polite and professional. They explained the repair process clearly when they arrived, which put me at ease. The technician, Gary, also mentioned that even if I hadn’t had spare offcuts, there were alternative methods for sourcing matching thread — which was reassuring to know. The final result exceeded my expectations — you genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell there had ever been any damage. It’s saved me a lot of money compared to replacing the entire carpet. Came and looked at the challenge ahead, and was thorough, the team then came back with a quote I balked at as it was way lower than i anticipated - lovely surprise. I think the aspects of the job we most love is meeting different customers and being able to make a visible difference to their furnishings and fabrics and around the home and for them to be satisfied with the result.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having run a franchise for several years we thought we could offer a more personal and attentive service rather than through a third party enabling us to build the reputation we wanted, giving us more freedom to expand and grow our clients.

Having had many years experience in the cleaning industry and always taking pride in our work, we like to offer the customer a really high standard of service but without paying over the odds.
