Very prompt and efficient response to my initial enquiry through Bark. Competitively priced and very professional service; the installation team were highly proficient, the work was carried out to a high standard with no mess left. Extremely impressed and will use them again and would highly recommend their scaffolding services.
Do you need qualifications to put up Scaffolding?
Scaffolding can be a risky business, which is why any worker putting up scaffolding should be competent and trained in how to erect, alter and dismantle that exact scaffolding type. The work should always be carried out under the direction of an experienced and qualified supervisor. Failure to do so could result in serious, or even fatal, injury.
How often does a Scaffold need to be inspected?
As scaffolding involves working at height, safety should always be of primary importance. When getting scaffolding erected, make sure it’s thoroughly inspected by a competent and qualified worker before it is first used and then every seven days thereafter. Don’t cut corners when it comes to assessing the safety of your scaffolding - it could seriously damage property, (or in the very worst case - lives) if you don’t.
What material is used for Scaffolding?
Scaffolding needs to be hard-wearing, so only the sturdiest of materials will do! Steel and aluminium are the most common materials, with aluminium being slightly more expensive as it’s more durable than steel. Which is why if you need scaffolding for a long period you should always opt for aluminium, while it’s a bigger upfront investment, it’ll save you money in the long run.
