I had a photoshoot with Thom Axon last week. This was a gift for my 30th birthday…
Until this point, I can only say that I rather disliked having my photo taken. I was ALWAYS nervous and would be guaranteed to pull a stupid face, squint in the light or blink (EVERY time!)
So you can imagine that I was rather apprehensive about my shoot and altogether surprised at my boyfriend's choice of gift!! However, a few months later, I've plucked up the courage and booked the date...
Somehow, between arriving and Thom explaining what we were going to do he managed to get me to relax. He asked me what I would like to achieve in the session, my answer was quite simply – a nice photo of me to look back on later in life.
He explained how his equipment worked, what we were going to do and distracted me with little details. You can tell when you meet Thom that this is his passion. I felt as though I wanted to get a good photo as much for his sake as for my own, how could you not want to let this talented guy show off his skills…? We had such a laugh, messing around with different lighting and poses and somehow, Thom managed to find this sexy, confident woman who apparently lives in ME?!
Thank you Thom. You’ve really helped me to feel good about myself and it was so much fun!! And thank you to Andy for the thoughtful gift which I will look back on with a smile for the rest of my days...

Lizzie is an absolutely fantastic photographer! She photographed our rather unusual wedding and was able to capture perfectly the essence of the day with candid shots as well as the usual “traditional” shots!
She is great fun and immediately puts you at ease so all of our photos looked completely natural and not forced or staged.
I have used Lizzie on a couple of other occasions, these being for family/children photos and a “boudoir”- style portrait. This shows her versatility! I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a photographer!

Sarah and Matt, have been incredible, I've known Sarah for a few years so having her be our photographer made the day even more special, they were cool, calm and a complete joy to be around, not pushy or bossy, they just fitted in with our wedding theme and kept me relaxed all day. Jessica was wonderful from start to finish, we booked her a year and 6 months before our wedding. She was very clear and upfront with her prices and catered for our needs. We met her 3 months before the wedding to confirm all the timings of the day, she made us feel comfortable and was very excited for our day. On the day she was confident and bubbly and blended in perfectly to get those 'stolen shots'. We were in Newquay to celebrate a dear father / grandfather's 80th birthday and thought it would be lovely to have a photographic record of the event as it is rare to get the whole family together..

We didn't want to spend hours having staged photographs as we didn't want it to be intrusive to the fun of the weekend. Daniel got it just right, he found a great spot for the photographs to be taken, worked quickly and really caught the spirit of our family.
