What do you love most about your job?

I love working with people who are passionate about their business, its products and its services. I love being able to support them in turning their vision into reality, and to take the mystery out of their figures.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I've always loved working for small businesses, where I could really make my mark and deliver improvements from day one. By setting up on my own, I've been able to do that with far more businesses than I'd have been able to work for.

Why should our clients choose you?

I combine the knowledge necessary to be an accountant with the creative thinking I needed for my Engineering degree. But more than that, I'm used to helping people to understand what the numbers mean, speaking in plain English and giving them the confidence to pursue their goals.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I provide the bulk of my services remotely by using web-based accounting systems and file transfers. I'm happy to meet via videoconferencing or by telephone, wherever necessary.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

The shift to online meetings has helped to keep everyone safe, but I'm also happy to meet - under COVID-safe protocols - when a client feels they would benefit from this.

Accounting helps owners to keep track of income, expenses and overall financial performance. This helps a business to make better decisions related to revenue growth.

Bookkeeping focuses on gathering and recording financial information, whereas accounting focuses on analysing, reporting and presenting that information. In other words, accounting starts where bookkeeping ends.
