Gave Matt and the team the job of turning my old, tired and worn out back garden, into a clean, modern and low maintenance piece of tranquillity. . And boy, did they pull it off! Literally couldn't be happier.. it looks absolutely stunning and is exactly what I imagined. It sounds so cliche to say they turned a dream in to a reality, but they really did. Absolute grafters, the team worked through some intense heat, nothing was too much trouble, even when I added to the job half way through! The site was left clean and washed down after every day and they're all genuinely lovely lads. We were nervous about getting our garden done: it was huge; the garden was waterlogged due to a nearby spring, wheelchair access was needed front and back; it was finally a chance for my disabled husband (who had been bed bound upstairs for almost a year in our previous property) to enjoy being outside again. We simply had to get this right. We looked at different firms and decided upon Budget Landscape & Groundworks. If you read no further, just know it was one of the best decisions we ever made! Watching the crew work reminded me of the ethic of a ‘hard day’s work’ (and this was every day, all weathers). All the obstacles were overcome, every decision was checked precisely and the whole job carried out to exacting standards. The final job is outstanding and greatly admired by all our visitors. There is no question that the outside space has added so much to the value of our property but without doubt, seeing my disabled husband (a former keen gardener) independently access and enjoy the outside space is the most priceless feature of all. Where do we even begin… I don’t think that I could even find the words to summarise the amazing service that we received from Mat and the team. From the initial quote phase, we just felt very comfortable and in safe hands with Mat - he was very knowledgable, attentive and had some great suggestions about what to do to make our garden space as we wanted. His quote was very competitive and he was helpful in making suggestions that fit with the budget that we had stipulated. The communication we received before and during the job was second to none, the team were very punctual, polite and extremely tidy - they even jet washed our driveway, which they needn’t do! Be under no illusion that our job was no easy feat.. we are in a new build property where the garden was pretty much an after thought, completely unlevel and the “top soil” was gravel, debris and rocks. The outcome just surpassed all our expectations of what we dreamed was possible. I think I will let the transformation speak for itself (see attached for before and after). Mat and the team came back to do stage 2 of my garden landscaping. I cannot stress enough how truly hardworking these people are. I have no access around the property so it has all been done by hand, no machinery. All dug out, Patio area, turf laid and a children’s bark play area, all with beautiful sleeper edging, steps and planters. I’m absolutely over the moon with it and a really good price on top of that. Mat and Luke have dug out a large area and laid me some paving this week. Also made me some fencing. I’m so pleased with their hard work. Both very polite and friendly. Originally got a response from Matt and his team last year when we wanted an Indian sandstone patio laying in our garden. We accepted and he did an amazing job for us . Next we wanted old conifers removing at the front and a new fence built, again Matt gave a great quote and he did that for us. This year we needed to have artificial grass laid due to our dogs killing off the real stuff. Had no hesitation in getting Matt back round and again a great quote and subsequent job completed. 3 projects, 3 professional jobs done.

We had our patio done by Matthew and it’s absolutely flawless, I couldn’t be happier with it. Matthew came round to quote us really quickly and worked with us to make our budget work, set realistic timescales and kept us informed all throughout the process. He’s so nice and polite to have around the house while he’s doing work too, never leaves a mess and takes absolutely all rubbish with him. he’s so fairly priced you know you aren’t getting ripped off. We have recently had Matt from Budget Landscape & Groundwork’s round for a third time and job at our house. He’s already laid our sandstone patio last year and put new fencing up after removing old conifers. This time he took up all the old dead turf and top soil from our back garden and replaced with artificial grass with all the right prep work including layers of hardcore and sand. Matt bordered the grass with good quality sleepers as requested and even cleared a space at the back of the garden and laid aggregate for us.
