Warren has been taking our lab on group walks since April this year and it has made such a difference to his behaviour, confidence and tolerance of other dogs when we are out with him too. He is always so pleased to see Warren and we are sent detailed updates of the routes they’ve done and pictures of the group. It is so lovely to get these and to see our lab out enjoying his walks on days we are at work. My husband has recently ruptured his Achilles and Warren has gone the extra mile and helped us out massively with extra walks. I wouldn’t trust many people with our dog but there’s never a doubt in my mind that he is safe and happy with Warren. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable dog walker 😀 More...

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both the dogs and their owners. Seeing the joy and excitement on a dog's face when they see me, knowing that they are in safe and loving hands, is incredibly rewarding. Every dog has a unique personality, and getting to know each one and tailoring my care to their specific needs is both a privilege and a joy. The trust that pet owners place in me to care for their furry family members is something I value deeply.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration to start Yorkshire Canine Care came from a lifelong passion for animals, combined with my extensive background working with them. After over 20 years in the military, where discipline, reliability, and leadership were paramount, I wanted to channel these skills into something I was truly passionate about. My experience with dogs over the past 24 years made me realise there was a need for high-quality, personalised pet care services in our community. I wanted to create a business that not only provided exceptional care but also built a sense of trust and community among pet owners.
