Appalling service. I was mislead from the start and hoodwinked into a signature which was only given because of the statutory booking off period of 14 days. When I tried to postpone the request, I was met with a demand for materials purchased. Needless to say we didn’t use them and their £6500 quote has now been replaced by several quote of under £500 from roofers recommended by family and friends. We strongly dispute this review. We attended to provide a quotation only. A written estimate was provided and accepted, and the customer signed the 14-day cooling-off period. The customer then cancelled shortly afterwards. No work was carried out, no deposit was taken, and no payment was received by us. Our quotation was for a full scope of roofing works as detailed on the written estimate (including removal and replacement of multiple materials and ridge works). The claim that this was replaced by “several quotes under £500” is therefore not a like-for-like comparison and would only reasonably relate to a minor patch repair, not the works quoted. We keep full records of all enquiries and have asked Bark to investigate this review as we do not believe it fairly reflects what took place.

I have just had some work completed on my house: chimney repointing and new flashing, ridge tile repointing, and brickwork repointing done on my home and am very pleased with the work! I've just bought my first house (built early 1900s) and the roof and chimney needed some repair.
