Len was the first to reply to my request. He visited and carried out a thorough inspection. We agreed a price for 2 men working all day, perhaps a bit longer.
Len was a clean and tidy workman. The work looks fine although untested as it hasn't rained.
However, I would recommend you agree an hourly rate as the job took only 3 hours and Len wasn't there for the first hour! So 5 hours work in total but we had to pay the full day rate for 2 men. In addition VAT was also mistakenly added to our invoice, though this was later removed.
I was e mailed at midnight, 2am and 4am with requests to pay the invoice.
In summary, he is a good worker but customer care is somewhat patchy!
