Having never had a cleaner before, we weren't sure what to expect and felt it might be odd having someone in our house. I contacted Trusted Cleaning and it really helped that Max came to meet us, see the house, and explain everything before we booked our first session. We've had two cleans so far, and Lucy, our cleaner, has done a fantastic job. It made a difference immediately and just seeing a beautifully shiny kitchen after the first visit made us more relaxed and happy with our space. After years of swearing about housework, I finally decided to try having a cleaner once a fortnight to at least do the vacuuming and dusting (my most hated of chores! ). I only regret not doing it sooner! Beverley has been amazing, doing a lovely job of more cleaning than I could achieve in a single hour, while adapting to what is needed around the house when I ask. Never sure whether I needed to get a cleaner but I am so glad I have. Max came round and recommend a schedule which at first I wasn't sure was going to be enough, however I went with the advise he gave which turned out to be perfect for me, I was sent an amazing cleaner called Yvonne who was very professional and always on the go with so much energy, she started off with a deep clean of the whole house and organised the place alot better, she is now coming back every couple of weeks just to keep on top of things and making it much easier for me to keep it tidy. my house has never been so clean. Moved to Gorleston from London at the end of April 2022. I had a relative doing my cleaning initially but that relative then had health issues and could not continue. I have arthritis, so finding a reliable and good cleaning company was vital for me. Having initially used another company which didn’t work out, my regular cleaner was recommended to me by someone. I contacted her and she said she worked for Trusted Cleaning and I then asked the company if I could have this particular cleaner, as she had been recommended. I have a small three bedroomed house. My cleaner comes once a week for two hours. Initially there were some teething problems around cover when my cleaner wasn’t available but these were ironed out satisfactorily. Whenever my cleaner is not available, I now have the same stand-in cleaner each time, so I don’t have to explain things, and there is also an ongoing relationship there. I started with a list of things I wanted to have done and we now have a good routine going. I work from home. The timings of my clean run across the lunchtime period. Sometimes I am in the whole time she is with me - this isn’t an issue, I simply move to a different room when she needs to clean the one I am in. My cleaner does an excellent job - she covers all the necessary tasks in the time and to a high standard. She is also a very nice and good humoured lady - whilst this isn’t necessarily a requirement for the job, it’s certainly a bonus. We have been very happy with the services provided by Trusted Cleaning! Our regular cleaner - Jodi - is very professional and efficient and manages to get so much done in 3 hours ! We trust her fully and look forward to the mornings she is in our home. She is friendly and very respectful of our home, including pets and kids ! Paula has been cleaning my home for a couple of months, and has made a real difference. I love that Paula arrives by bike - amazing what she can bring in her trailer! She is helpful and friendly, never worrying about how messy some of my unloved areas of the home have been. This last week she made a magnificent difference to a utility lean-to, cleaning the windows inside and out as well as removing many long-dead insects!!! The service is efficient and organised. Trusted cleaning have always got back to me promptly when I have had any queries or needed to cancel an appointment, change a date or add in an extra clean. What impresses me the most is that your employees speak very highly of their 'boss' too. I’d been considering employing a cleaner for some time but I was nervous about doing it myself - you never know what standard you will get if you rely on random social media requests and recommendations! I came across Trusted cleaning and loved the fact that they pay living wage and their employees get proper holiday pay etc. I also loved the flexibility they allow. Max has been brilliant - great communication throughout. As for the cleaning…I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner! I'm very sorry you did not get everything you wanted, and you felt the quality was poor. Having checked back over our records and our logs, we actually spent 6hrs cleaning for you (but we did only charge for 5) as there was quite a bit of deep cleaning we needed to take care of. We would have liked to have spent longer, but you did specifically request a fixed number of hours, so we are always limited in what we can do in these circumstances. I know you contacted us after the visit to highlight your concerns, at which point I offered to send in another cleaner for a free-of-charge reclean but this was not taken up unfortunately. They were utterly useless. I engaged them for what they call a "deep clean" taking six hours. A woman arrived and worked for two hours, although it is not clear what she did in that time other than a little light hoovering. Then she called her boss, and he called me, telling me they could not continue with the job because there was some unpleasant dirt in the loos/bathrooms, they were not allowed to use bleach, and this was not covered by their insurance. In fact the dirt complained of was slight. I had not dealt with it because of illness and mobility issues, but afterwards I managed to deal with using standard cleaning products. It wasn't a big deal. The cleaner then complained that she could overhear our conversation, even though her boss had called me knowing she was in my house. I would say this is an unprofessional company that only wants to clean things that are already clean. More...

Thank you Mr Corbett for your review. I am very sorry you feel the way you do and I do want to apologise for not being able to finish your clean. I am sure you can appreciate that it is not in our interest either to not complete a clean. Just to clarify a few points you have made. The reason the clean was cut short from 6hrs to 2hrs was because of the aggressive nature of your voice and the shouting on the phone to me, within earshot of the cleaner, which made the cleaner feel unsafe. The safety of our staff is our absolute 1st priority over everything else. Within our Terms and Conditions, which were sent to you several days before the clean, we clearly state that we cannot clean excess faeces or bodily fluids due to insurance and safety reasons. We have photos taken on the day showing all the toilets being heavily soiled, and this has also been transferred across the floors in the bathrooms, which is beyond what we would be able to clean for you. You made no mention of this at all when we booked the clean in with you. We also are very clear on not using bleach, again something that was detailed in the Terms and Conditions. This is not uncommon in other professional cleaning companies, for reasons previously explained to you. Please note that we did not charge you anything at all for the 2hrs of deep cleaning that we provided, and that the only reason we were forced to stop was due to the safety of our cleaner, and to comply with our own Terms and Conditions. Whilst we respect your right to leave us a 1 star review, for your own personal reasons, we hope that you can see that, as a professional company, you are the only person to have ever left us anything other than a 4 or 5 star review.

This service has made a big improvement in my home environment and quality of life. Michelle started with a three-day thorough cleaning of the whole house, and now comes in once a fortnight to maintain the standard, and make further improvements. She’s cheerful, courteous, conscientious, punctual and hard-working. I’m happy to trust her judgment and initiative about what needs doing, without supervision. And if I have any particular instructions (e.g. damp-dusting because of my COPD), she carefully follows them. Having a clean house is a great boost to morale, and has helped relieve my social isolation, as I'm no longer ashamed to invite people in! Trusted Home Cleaning are a very easy firm to deal with.
