I had tone hearing install a hive system in my property. I called Tuesday to enquire about the hive and I had it installed by Friday. The job was done very neat, tidy and professional. We contacted tone heating with a request for an additional radiator initially and then proceeded with a further request for a replacement of our back boiler system along with another additional radiator. We had a combi-boiler system installed which involved removal of both the back boiler and water tank, alongside repositioning of the new boiler.Our quotes were fair and competitive against other companies we contacted and our preference was to support a smaller local firm.James and James efficiently carried out the works ensuring minimal disruption whilst my husband and I continued to work at home throughout. Communication was good prior to and during the time they were on site, making us aware of progress and important information such as when the electrics would be switched off.They worked tidily, ensuring full coverage of carpets to avoid damage, clearing away everything at the end of each day and hoovering up ensuring a habitable space for us and our little one. We needed a landlords check but struggling to find someone who could even respond to calls and texts. James came back to us straight away, arranged a date - not too far away - and arrived at the house on time. Boiler serviced - CO alarm replaced and certificate issued. Absolutely brilliant. We will be calling on James for our future work. So refreshing to find someone reliable. More...

Couldn’t recommend James more. After moving in to the area (to a reno property) we contacted him to cap off some unused gas fires which were overloading the supply which he did promptly so they could be removed. He also checked over our system & was concerned about the old hot water cylinder which had a naked flame underneath….a few days later he turned up with a co2 alarm which he installed for free as he was worried. We later had him come to change the cylinder for something more efficient & wired in to the boiler which will save so much money on the rising gas bills. He’s currently in the process of removing the downstairs toilet/sink & is replacing for us once it’s been redecorated. He’s friendly, helpful, a tidy & hard worker & most importantly reliable. If you have an emergency he’ll be out quickly (as we found with a leak through the ceiling from an upstairs shower which he investigated & fixed quickly). Turns up when he says he will at affordable prices. The best tradesman in the area that we’ve found - thank you James! More...
