What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
For me, a great photograph is a combination of light, composition, timing and emotion. Good equipment helps, but understanding the subject and capturing the right moment is much more important. I always aim for images that look professional but also feel natural and tell a story.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
like to understand what the client wants to achieve, who the audience is, where and when the shoot will take place, and what style they have in mind. I’ll also ask where the final photos or videos will be used – for example, a website, social media, advertising or personal use. From there, I can recommend the best approach, equipment and shooting plan.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that every project is different. One day I might be photographing a live event, another day filming a wedding, fashion show, interview or commercial project. I particularly enjoy working with people, solving creative challenges and turning an idea or real-life moment into strong visual content.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Screaming Films because filmmaking and photography have been a passion of mine for many years. I wanted the freedom to work on different types of projects, develop my own visual style and work directly with clients. Over the years, this has allowed me to combine filmmaking, photography, editing and technology in my work.

I bring over 14 years of experience in videography and photography, covering everything from live events and fashion to weddings, interviews, commercial work and film production. I can handle the complete process – planning, camera operation, lighting, sound, directing and post-production. I own professional cameras, lighting, audio equipment, gimbals and a drone, so I can adapt my setup to projects of different sizes while keeping the service personal and flexible.

Yes. While photography and filming normally require me to be on location, I can provide post-production services remotely, including video editing, colour correction, audio editing, social-media content, promotional videos and other editing work. Clients can send their footage digitally, and communication and project reviews can be handled online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I follow sensible health and safety practices and can adapt to any specific requirements of the client or venue. Where appropriate, planning, consultations and reviews can be handled remotely to reduce unnecessary meetings. During shoots, I respect clients' personal space and any health and safety procedures required at the location.
