Absolutely furious with this company, they called my business and had me send a van out to remove some scrap metal I uplifted the metal FREE OF CHARGE taking an old boiler and radiators and a MATTHEW CAMPBELL left my business a review saying “they had bags of rubbish to go as well” They expected my business to clear away a customer of theirs “rubbish” for free? ? Is this a joke? You are paid for your work from start to finish like the rest of the world in trades. You cannot just dump out rubbish and expect a business that works in SCRAP METAL ONLY to remove for FREE? Would you fit my boiler for free? They charge customers for boilers and plumbing and want rid of their waste for free? They cannot dispose of it themselves? What a kick in the teeth for someone who’s business works hard and fitted this in at extremely short notice. Absolutely furious and will be contacting SEPA the Scottish environment protection agency regarding the matter of “Matthew Campbell” not doing his job correctly and trying to use third parties to dispose of the customers waste which this company has generated. After contacting RGM, a team first removed an absolutely huge amount of the dreaded spray foam from my loft. Soon after that, a different team removed the 25-year old tatty and dusty floor level insulation and installed new stuff. I can't praise them highly enough, they were all excellent! We had ongoing issues with our boiler/heating over the last 12 months. Had used a couple of local firms but the problem had never been fully resolved. Pleased to say RGM may well have solved the issue after a couple of visits (fingers crossed). After the experience with the boiler repair we then used RGM to install our HIVE thermostat and also replace our shower, this went smoothly and we are also waiting on having our under-floor insulation installed in the coming weeks. Overall the fact we’re returning customers says it all really. I can 100% recommend RGM and feel safe knowing if anything was to go wrong they would be very supportive and able to resolve issues very quickly and that is important to us with a young child at home too. I'd struggled to get any response from other firms when I requested quotes for underfloor insulation but, from the moment I phoned RGM Heating Ltd, I was reassured by the pleasant, competent woman who answered and took details. The surveyor, Alasdair, happened to be in my area that day and came after lunch. He was pleasant and straightforward, his quote acceptable and Matthew sent written confirmation of it later that day! I applied for a Grant and got it within a week, so contacted RGM and was given a date a month later for installation which suited us fine as I had to clear the understair-cupboard to allow access. On the day, Kev kindly messaged me re delay en route and once he, Mike and Graham arrived they pressed on with the work and it was completed within 3 hours (including tidying up/vacuuming). We were impressed with Ali on the initial visit to our house, happy with the quote, so the underfloor insulation was done in a morning very efficiently a couple of weeks later. Matthew in the office was very helpful in the application for the grant. Surveyor for new EPC was also very good. Brilliant service offered by RGM Heating in doing the underfloor insulation. Ours was a very tight space but it was no problem for the lads who were all helpful and hardworking. When they left we were given a card stating if we referred another customer, who also got the service, they would provide us with an Amazon gift voucher. The RGM Insulation team arrived yesterday to strip out 50 years of loft insulation that had been topped up on more than one occasion and lifted by other contractors who had carried out works in the attic and then patched back, so it was in a real mess. The boys cleared it all out, including all the debris they came across that had been left by others and laid new insulation between and over the joists and I don't normally get excited by attics, but it's looking really good. The team seemed to work non stop for the duration and cleaned up after them, so we were very impressed. Now looking forward to them returning to install underfloor insulation, but going through the grant process first - if that's approved, then who wouldn't have it installed. More...

RGM fitted our 1904 home with underfloor insulation last week. Really impressed with the way these guys operated: pleasant and efficient surveyor, and a rapid quote at a fixed price. Applying for a Home Energy Scotland 75% grant (max £1,500) was a bit of a pain, but getting the grant made it a no-brainer to have the job done professionally – in any case, getting underfloor access is tricky, and no way could I have tackled the job myself even when I was young! We had anticipated major disruption, but the RGM team (Kev, Graham and Mick) were in and out in less than a day, albeit they worked very hard. I followed with interest the way that Graham wormed himself into the smallest spaces (think pot-holing), and was amazed at how little disturbance was evident after the job had been completed and they’d tidied up. Were it not for the before-and-after pictures, and the vast amounts of insulation and netting I had watched disappear into the hatches, I’d not have known that the work had been carried out. The guys on the team were also great to deal with, which made the whole operation a pleasure. Well done, everybody! More...

Really good service from RGM. Had a boiler valve replaced, boiler service and radiator fixed. They showed up when they said they would and got work done within the time frame they estimated. This was the same another time they came to do work recently. I was really impressed with how friendly the staff were in the office. It was really nice to not feel awkward asking questions about some of the work I needed/day they could come out and for them to answer these clearly; I've not always had such polite customer service from other companies so it really made such a big difference. It can feel awkward sometimes having people in doing work on the house but this didn't happen with RGM as the guys that did the work just focussed on the job, got it done quickly and kept me informed re what they had done. I'll definitely contact RGM again and would recommend them to others. More...
