If I could give more than 5 stars I would. All anyone asks when they leave their pet with a sitter is that there is no change in their behaviour when you return. As if you just popped out of the room for 3 minutes. No anxious dog on our return , just the normal behaviour of an excited and happy dacshund - Belinda you and your team are stars. We used Belinda for a recent trip to South Africa, we were constantly kept up to date via messages and photos of our animals (3 dogs and a cat).
Our return flight was cancelled and we immediately contacted Belinda who was happy to stay on until our rescheduled flights landed in the UK.
We are very grateful and appreciative of the service we received and will probably never use anybody else to take care of our pets.

I can’t say enough kind words about Alex this is the third time he has minded Norma and I wouldn’t want her to go anywhere else he loves her to bits as much as we do being a bulldog she is adamant she won’t walk but Alex just picks her up and walks down the street and then does a 20 minute walk home he’s is the most lovely guy we have ever met we get a constant photo every day of what she’s doing highly recommend him x

Alex is amazing he has had Norma 3 times. She is a unique girl and doesn’t like others so Alex is so special he is one on one he wants her to have the best time cant say enough good things about him 😊😊

At first, I was really pleased with Belinda's help and Fabian agreeing to sit my 3 year old rescue pup Rumi - especially as I was booked on a last minute work trip. What a nightmare it turned out to be. I sent Fabian full written instructions and videos, after having a Zoom call with him. I'd also seen he'd received positive reviews here so that was reassuring. My trip was initially 4 days and ended up being extended by another 4 days, which Fabian said he was happy to stay for. When I got home (I arrived 30 minutes after Fabian left), I was shocked to see my outdoor chair on the balcony was completely destroyed. It looked like it had been kicked in but was perfectly intact before I left (photos and videos were sent to Belinda to prove this). Fabian lied and blamed previous Airbnb guests. My listing has been blocked since June as my property is listed for sale. The videos I sent Belinda were from July and I have had no other guests. This is really worrying. All I can say is it looks as though someone kicked the chair in a repeated fit of anger... It's irreparable. Not only that, but Fabian clearly rummaged through all my cupboards whilst I was gone and left them in a complete mess, helping himself to all my personal belongings. My dog looked like he'd put on weight in just one week so it doesn't seem he was walked for very long - all of the photos / videos I was sent were taken in locations just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Yet Fabian claims he walked him 4 x 40 minutes a day. I have had Rumi for 3 years. There is no way! And we know our pets better than anyone. Incredibly disappointed by this experience. Belinda was helpful at first - apologised immediately, said it was not the standard of service to be given and she would speak to Fabian to find out what happened. When I followed up, this quickly turned to 'message him yourself, your contract is with him' even though I paid Belinda directly each time (deposit + 1st payment + 2nd payment for the extended stay). She also told me that Fabian had let down another client just months ago, leaving the sit early and then gone MIA. He told her the truth about what happened a while later and she then agreed to give him a 2nd chance - which happened to be the sit he did for me, destroying my furniture and using items not belonging to him. She insists she won't use him again as she doesn't trust him now. But then refused to help me get some of my money back - as she paid him the full amount before I returned. Knowing he had already messed her around previously. I messaged Fabian directly and constructively pointed out all the ways in which he hadn't fulfilled all his obligations of the sit. He proceeded to lie and blame previous Airbnb guests / me on everything that was wrong. I would never have a petsitter in my home again after this experience. And would not recommend Pet Lodger or Fabian at all. More...

Belinda looked after our two dogs for 10 days while we went on our honeymoon. Brody is a 2 year old Australian Labradoodle, very sweet natured but has been out of sorts recently due to a shoulder injury, and Gracie is a 1 year old Romanian rescue who is still quite anxious, especially with new people. It was the first time we had left them for an extended period of time and they could not have been in better hands.
Belinda clearly adores and understands dogs, Brody was smitten with her the moment she came through the door. Gracie took a while longer but within a few days was happy to have cuddles on Belinda’s lap!
Any worries about leaving our two behind were put to rest, we missed them of course but Belinda gave us daily updates, photos and from the sounds of it they didn’t have time to miss us, too much fun going for long walks and trips out.
We came home to a spotless house and two very happy dogs. We would have no hesitation in booking Belinda again and would highly recommend her. More...

Highly recommended! We contacted Belinda as we had such a great experience with Jacky last time we were away. This time we had Alex petsit for us. The dogs loved him! He was very polite and friendly and really took time to understand our dogs daily routine and make sure he understood what was required. Our experience using this company was excellent, Bellinda sent one of her team members (Fabian) and he was fantastic. We were sent daily updates on the welfare of our two dogs which we found very reassuring and we will definitely be using Bellinda and her team again.

We were very pleased with Belinda's and Alex's efforts in looking after our dog Pickle and our herd of alpacas. The daily photos and videos were very reassuring, the daily chores and dog walks were well attended to and it was clear that Pickle adored the Alex's attention. We would highly recommend them.

Excellent communication. Belinda listened to our specific needs for our 2 dogs and Belinda was absolutely amazing at Co-ordinating and supporting us with getting a dog sit. Fabian looked after our 2 dogs for a week and he did an amazing and outstanding job in walking our dogs 2-3 times daily, giving them care and love and looking after the house. Belinda was quick to respond to all messages making booking our holiday really easy. She gave us lots of information and was very professional. She booked Fabian to come and stay in our house with our pets and he was all she Simister’s. He kept us in touch with our pets while we were away sending photos and messages. I have 12 rescue dogs, so not for the faint hearted but Belinda was fantastic with my dogs. Fortunately she arrived the night before I was due to go away on holiday, fortunate because 1 of my dogs got the call of the wild and disappeared for 10 hours. During this time Belinda proved to be an absolute rock, taking the other dogs out for me and , when I finally got the dog back she even took me to the station to get the train!

Jacky came to stay with my 43kg German shepherd for 4 nights. We did a face time beforehand to check that we were both happy. She was extremely nice and calm despite my boy going crazy running about the house when she arrived. It’s clear she loves dogs and she was very punctual and left my house lovely and tidy. We were away for 12 days and had to make some last minute changes to the day we travelled and Belinda was super flexible with us. We had Susannah stop with the dogs for the first week. She was so lovely, with daily updates and photos on the dogs (and hamster!). Belinda stopped for the second portion and again was lovely and the dogs seemed really happy.

The first time we used a pet sitter at our home and we weren't sure to start with. That all changed when we had an initial chat with Belinda. She went through the whole process with us and we sent her details of our various pets. We have 3 dogs a cat and bird averies so it was a big ask! I have a two and a half year old Rottweiler who I had previously tried in daycare in kennels, she hated it and growled at anybody that went near her, as I would be in America for a week I was worried about leaving her as it is not only kennels that she doesn't like, she can also be funny with people. I booked Bark and Susannah came to stay Sunday until Thursday and Belinda Thursday to Saturday at our house. They were both amazing with her, they sent me photos every day with Susannah even kissing her, which normally only I am allowed to do. They looked after her extremely well and she was very happy with them. I came back to a very happy & relaxed dog who even went round the house looking for them after they had left. Belinda set me up with Susannah to look after three papillons for two days Susannah was a delight she took great care of the dogs even shared a bed with them as we do , nothing was too much trouble for her and our list of instructions for our prince and princesses didn’t faze her at all .
The house was clean and safe on my return which was excellent with all dogs fit healthy and happy

I would like to say that I trusted Alex to look after my fur babies to say I was worried was an understatement especially when it was there first time being left in the 4 and half years of being born. Lilly in particular as she lost her dad in March and came to live with her brother.
I can honestly sayAlex was welcoming and I felt at ease straight away especially when Olly & Lilly settled immediately with Alex which Lilly never has straight away taken to anyone.
I was provided with regular updates, photos & videos throughout their stay.
I can honestly recommend Alex & I will surely be asking for his services in the future Thanks Ales I was able to relax and enjoy my break knowing they were in living capable hands.

Belinda was exactly what she said. Looked after our JR for a month whilst we toured AUS. Bella took to her quickly and went absolutely everywhere with Belinda. The house was clean and tidy on our return and Bella had obviously enjoyed Belinda’s care.
