Posted a job on bark for whole house painting (3 bed semi) Peter contacted me that night and came round the following morning to do a quote, boasting that he was one of the elite tradesmen on Bark. Likeable friendly guy, and he assured me that he would make my house special. I suggested removing the ghastly feature wall paper but he declined saying he had a work around. Told me the job would take less than 2 weeks. Started on 26/05/2026 and ended on 12/06/2026, 3 weeks! The quality of the work was very dissatisfactory. Paint on kitchen doors is peeling off, paint splashes on tiles, door handles, light fittings and the kitchen floor. Gaps in skirting boards and door side panels not filled. I had to inspect several times and lots of messaging back and forth with promises to put it right. The wall paper work around was despicable. I sent pictures of places that were very unprofessionally painted and he returned but failed to correct all the issues. In the end he seemed annoyed and implied that I was pedantic. So here I am spending hours putting right what he didn’t! I have loads of pictures of the poor job done. If anyone finds this review helpful I’m happy to be contacted. More...

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new exciting people, I just seeing there faces once I have finished there projects I have made some really good friends from work I have carried out for them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a bit of a Eco worrier I try not to use plastics and trying to reduce our Carbon foot prints. I like to use sustainable materials where ever I can. Seeing my customers faces once I've finished a project seeing my customers faces is a great privilege.
