Having read Lee's glowing reviews, I was expecting great things, but unfortunately came away feeling he overpromised and underdelivered. My 90-minute session itself was very good (Lee gave useful, specific feedback on all five StrongLifts lifts, followed by a detailed email summary with video references), but issues came afterwards.Lee had offered to review videos of my adjusted form, which I sent through a few days later. After saying he'd review them the next day, he then ghosted my messages entirely. I followed up twice over the next few weeks to check whether he might have a chance to review the videos, and also to book another (paid!) session, but received no replies at all.If you're just looking for a one-off form check with no follow-up, Lee's coaching might be a good fit. But if you're hoping for a reliable PT with the ongoing support his website advertises, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. More...

I trained with Lee for three years, and during that time he proved to be an excellent trainer. He was always attentive to my evolving fitness goals and adapted our sessions accordingly to help me successfully reach them. Lee knows when to push you and when to respect your limits, making the workouts effective and not stressful. He is also quite knowledgeable about health and nutrition, which made our sessions informative and helped me apply what I learned outside the gym. Lee is great. Sweet. Understanding. Great sense of humour. Gentle yet disciplined. Very very respectful.He eased me into the experience integrating the gym into my routine. It was such a reflective experience for me. Making an effort for my self-care. Waking up at 5am in the morning and making it to the gym session at 6. It wasn’t easy, but Lee showed up at 6 with me, each tine.My conversations with Lee showed me how my work life was coming in the way of my wellbeing. I’ve been training with Lee for a couple of years now. The fact that it’s been that long, says it all! He’s pushed me to achieve my goals whether that’s with strength training in the gym, or planning out my running programme. I am a 61 year old male, who had gotten out of shape over the years. I started training with Lee one year ago, when I came to to Oxford to attend University and trained with him for two semesters. At the end of my training, I was literally in the best shape of my life. I dont know if it was it variety of exercises or the focus on intensity over heavy weights but I was very pleased.
