Olympic Catering provided most of the food for our Wedding Celebration on the 1st of June '25. My husband, as a Greek Cypriot, was thrilled to have a BBQ for our special day despite initially thinking the price was hefty (as although Olympic Caterers had said they would provide serving dishes for their food, it did not include any desserts and we would have to provide all crockery, cutlery, washing and tidying up).
Artemis, (who runs the catering service) explained that the minimum spend of £950 despite only having 55 guests was such as it was a full day's work for her and her team to deliver the BBQ.
Leading up to our special day, Artemis suggested that we should provide our own serving trays and utensils so that she and her team could leave after serving the food and take away their own serving trays ect. In response, I explained that at this late stage, we had not budgeted for these additional items. I explained that our guests would be eating at 2pm and so I imagined that they would have finished eating by 3pm at which time she could retrieve her serving platters. At this point Artemis continued to pressure us with (text messages and then a phone call) to provide these platters but we continued to ask that she not remove the food from her serving dishes until 3pm at the earliest in order for the food to remain warm and to give the opportunity to eat seconds for our guests.
On our special day, Artemis and her team arrived, as indicated, at 11:30 to set up and begin cooking. They were pleasant and efficient. Earlier than arranged, the food was ready and Artemis asked if she could serve it. I kindly asked for her to wait until the agreed time as some of our guests had not yet arrived. At 2pm the food was served - Olympic Caterers had provided for our different guests (vegan, vegetarian ect) which was great. At 2:15pm all our guests had just sat down to eat including myself. At this point Artemis approached me to say that she was going to begin to collect all of her serving dishes and cutlery and wanted to know where I wanted her to empty the remaining food. I was absolutely horrified and explained that our guests had only just sat down to eat and that they may want seconds. I reminded her that I had asked that she wait until 3pm and that her fee was for a full day. She then said that she'd only be prepared to wait a further 15 mins, until 2:30pm! I found this very upsetting especially as this meant they'd only been at our event for 3 hours.
Unbelievably, our wedding guests, hearing what was happening, jumped up and began transferring the food onto plates!!!
One star only Olympic Catering!

Olympic Catering provided 30 beautiful rainbow coloured 🌈 lunch boxes for my daughter’s 6th birthday party this weekend! 🎈 They were absolutely perfect and enjoyed by all of the children. Artemis also made 5 large sandwich platters for the parents. I honestly don’t know how she managed it all! I ordered individual lunch boxes for my daughters party and added some extra sandwiches and crudités. Despite the late order, lovely Artemis was very accommodating and all the food was delicious (as always!
). The children loved their individual lunch boxes and all the yummy food and treats inside them. All the food was fresh and tasty and I feel very lucky to have Olympic Catering close by for such occasions!
