What inspired you to start your own business?
We were inspired to start Nordic Preservations because we saw a real need for a company that not only provides expert damp proofing and renovation services but also does so with a genuine care for the customer’s experience. Yes, we can provide some of our services online or remotely! If you send photos and detailed descriptions of the issues you're experiencing to projects@nordicpreservations.co.uk, we can offer initial advice and even estimate the work that might be required. However, we always recommend an in-person survey to best analyze the issue at hand. This allows us to fully understand the scope of the problem and provide the most accurate and effective solutions.
There's no substitute for seeing the situation firsthand, but we're here to help in any way we can, whether remotely or on-site.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To ensure the safety and well-being of our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Nordic Preservations have implemented several key measures:
**Enhanced Hygiene Practices**: Our team follows strict hygiene protocols, including frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizers before, during, and after every job. All tools and equipment are thoroughly sanitized between visits to different properties.
**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**: Can be used on request if needed. Our technicians can wear appropriate PPE, such as masks, gloves, and, when necessary, face shields, to minimize any risk of transmission while working on your property.
**Contactless Consultations and Payments**: Whenever possible, we conduct consultations over the phone or via video calls. We also offer contactless payment options to reduce the need for physical interaction.
**Remote Service Options**: For some cases, we can provide remote assessments and advice. Clients can send us photos and detailed descriptions of their issues to projects@nordicpreservations.co.uk, allowing us to offer initial guidance without needing to visit your property immediately.
