We had nick as our photographer for our wedding at salcombe harbour hotel on Saturday. Nick came in with a calm and friendly attitude and made the whole experience so positive and amazing! During our getting ready photos nick introduced himself to everyone and it felt like we had known him forever! Nick was an amazing photographer, I can't recommend him enough. In the chaos prior to the wedding, Nick was calm and everywhere we needed him. A real MVP, all our guests commented on how good Nick was, he had them laughing in the rain, gave them tips on their own photos, and even printed a photo for nan who always managed to stand in the way. Nothing was too much effort for him, tracking the weather so we got some outside shots in a brief respite from the rain, editing the photos during our wedding breakfast so we could see them straight after the meal and getting the full range to us less than a week later. The photos speak for themselves too, it's nerve wracking putting the only record of the day in one person's hands but Nick exceeded my hopes, and everyone who's seen the photos has commented on how happy everyone looks as it's just the natural moments Nick captured well. We had the pleasure of having Nick being the photographer at our wedding recently. A friendly guy with a relaxing aura , he put us all at ease! When he said you wouldn’t notice him taking natural shots he wasn’t lying. Both myself and my partner hate our photo being taken as we always look so awkward but I was amazed at how the pictures turned out and so happy with them. Nick showed us some of the pictures on the day and our guests were amazed how well they turned out and how he provided them so quickly. Nick is by far the most professional, friendly and excellent photographer I have had the pleasure to deal with. We were looking for a relaxed wedding with multiple unposed photos of our guests and Nick was willing and able to make that happen. From start to finish Nick was there, he helped round everyone up for group photos, took photos of our guests arriving and photos throughout the ceremony, reception and first dance. During the wedding breakfast he showed us photos he had taken so far and even printed out one for us to take home! (See attached photo) His knowledge of lighting and specialist photography equipment allowed us to get the most fantastic photos and his experience and expertise were second to none. Hiring Nick was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. The photos are absolutely incredible and his presence on the day was fantastic. He took the time to understand what we wanted, worked incredibly efficiently, put us at ease in front of the camera and was really fun to be around! We were keen to limit the number of formal group photos as we wanted to spend as much time as possible enjoying the day and Nick accommodated this perfectly. Nick was able to show us and our guests some of the edited shots on the night which was lovely, and we received access to our online gallery the next day! Honestly nick deserves more than 5 stars. When we researched for photographers last year we were anxious to find the right person because in the 17 years of being together we only have a handful of photos together. So with that in mind we wanted nothing but the best with photos and that we have got. Once we met nick we were instantly at ease as we are not ones for posing for cameras. On our wedding day there was no pressure at all, nick made sure we got the photos we always wanted and we couldn’t be any happier with them. Nick photographed our wedding 8 years ago in 2016. We recently discovered we lost our copies of the photos from that day. We contacted Nick in a panic and within 24 hours he had uploaded them all to his website and explained how to download them . Panic over! I'm sure you will agree that knowing your photos are safe, no matter how many times your hard drive dies, is very comforting. If you're after a wedding photographer Nick is fantastic. To start with, his photos are stunning! Our wedding was photographed and edited expertly and managed to capture the day in all its tiny details. They told the story of our day. A Truly outstanding photographer. Punctual, incredibly polite, and with a work ethic that would put most people to shame. He handled all aspects of photography for our wedding last weekend . Nick photographed our wedding in late December. We were so pleased with his work. He made us and our guests feel at ease throughout the day which was something we felt was really important. Most of the time we didn't realise he was there! As the weather was quite unpredictable (we had rain forecast and high winds) Nick made the most of opportunities for outside photographs and even stayed on later in the evening until the rain had passed so that we could have a sparkler photo. WOW! Just WOW! Nick was recommended to us by Thornbury Castle for our wedding, and we are so glad they did. From the first email and subsequent calls, to the big day itself, Nick was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, full of ideas and really easy to work with. His previous work filled us with confidence, but nothing prepared us for how phenomenal our own wedding pictures turned out. He managed to turn bad weather into an advantage by thinking on his feet and being flexible. Nick! What can we say!! You were fantastic ! From the first enquiry, you have been helpful and patient with our requests and have given excellent advice. As newbies to the area, we didn’t have any recommendations, however, we really liked the informal style of photos on Nick’s website. As a more mature couple we wanted the whole day to be relaxed without too many formalities. Nick’s pitch on the day is brilliant. He is relaxed and fun and the ensuing photographs show what a great rapport he created with all of our guests. So many of them have commented that he is the best wedding photographer they’ve encountered, (and some of them have been to a LOT of weddings !!) We received our photographs the next day and also had a sneak preview of his own personal favourites early evening of our wedding day on a slideshow. The photographs themselves are excellent and really do capture the joy of our day. So many smiles and candid moments captured perfectly. Even our guests who are camera shy felt at ease.
