Hired Ricky to replace my old radiator for new. He did a great job at a really good price and on the whole was a pleasure to do business with. Would highly recommend

This is a very unreliable unprofessional trader. Over promised under delivered, always an excuse, told me a time frame and a week later I am left having to hire another professional to sort out his half done job. Do not hire

Ricky came to repair our boiler and cleaned the domestic heat exchanger on his first visit. He recommended a powerflush and so came back to do that on a second visit.

About a week after his visit the hot water became inconsistent again, which was the initial problem and he came back to complete the original work again.

However a few weeks later the original problem returned and besides recommending we get a new boiler (a very expensive proposal) he could help no further. He offered to come back to take a look at the boiler again, and we arranged a day. When the day arrived he didn't turn up and didn't respond to my call. We then arranged another day a few days later and once again he didn't show up or answer any calls. During his visits he took many personal phone calls and even left for a haircut during the powerflush.

We had no choice but to bring in another plumber, who diagnosed a problem with the boiler pressure due to a leak, which I cannot be sure but didn't appear to be there until after the work done by MSc. Ricky is a nice guy but the service was unreliable and unprofessional. More...

I engaged Ricky and the electrician he recommended (Jake) after moving into a property, specifically to carry out gas and electrical safety checks. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns.

The electrician failed to provide the legally required electrical certificate and has been completely unresponsive for almost a month, despite multiple follow-ups. This is wholly unprofessional and unacceptable.

The gas engineer issued a gas safety certificate for the boiler. However, the very next morning after his visit, the boiler began leaking significantly, causing major water damage to my ceiling. It is important to note that the boiler was functioning perfectly until he carried out his inspection.

After being informed of the leak, the gas engineer returned days later. Rather than acknowledging any responsibility, he immediately began quoting excessively high repair costs and pressured me to approve the work urgently. I found this behavior highly inappropriate and exploitative, especially considering the timing of the damage, which conveniently appeared after his inspection.

His dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and apparent attempt to financially take advantage of the situation are extremely concerning.

Overall, I strongly advise against using MSc or Jake, the electrician he recommended. Their conduct was unprofessional, unreliable, and deeply disappointing. More...
