About

Merak - meaning ‘a feeling of bliss’!
I’m Natalie and I set up my company in 2019, but have been practicing as a massage therapist since 2010. I believe in working with the body and the nervous system via massage to give long term relief from chronic pain, or just to help reset the mind and body during periods of stress.

Another great massage from Natalie. So relaxing but it's her attention to detail and ability to spot what you need (even when you don't know it yourself) that really stands out. And she's lovely!

Q&As

I view massage as one of life’s greatest pleasures! I’m therefore thrilled that I can be a part of that. I also love meeting new customers and forming connections with regulars.

Being overworked by employers. Massage can be a physically tiring job, and I’d find myself totally burned out after a 12 hour day of back to back (no pun intended) massages. I’d start to dread my next client, and I realised that’s no way to feel about your passion!

I truly believe that massage can have powerful impacts and I will treat each client as an individual. We’ll talk through your needs and issues, and tailor a session exactly for you.

I complete lateral flow tests weekly. I wear a mask to every appointment, and my equipment, including my massage couch, is sanitised before every client.

Services

A more intense massage - slower and firmer techniques are used for deep muscle relaxation and softening of fascia. Perfect for anyone suffering from strains/injuries, or just prefer a firmer pressure!

A relaxing full body massage with lighter, flowing strokes to stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage, and calm the nervous system. Deeper pressure can be used on particular areas of tension.

Traditional Indian head massage uses trigger points and drainage to relax and invigorate. Neck and shoulders are also treated.
