I cannot recommend Robin more! We sent our 13 week old dachshund to Robin for puppy bootcamp and she came back with a wonderfully calm temperament! There was no more nibbling, she was fully crate trained and very nearly house trained (dachshunds are particularly slow learners for house training!). She is a very sweet and calm dog since coming back. When she has picked up behaviours from other dogs since leaving the bootcamp, Robin has made himself available to chat through any tips and tricks on how to reestablish her social skills. Our 9 week old puppy Luna went to Robin for his residential puppy bootcamp and I can attest to the fact that it was the best decision ever made. Luna came home able to sleep in her crate almost uninterrupted through the night. Most importantly, she was perfectly housetrained and she simply rings a bell on the door when she needs to be let out to do her business. How to inumerate the issues with this training session? Shall I start with when he brandished a mop at my dog or chucked her in the bathroom? We had warned Robin well in advance that we needed his help with our dog because she bites (SHE DID NOT BITE HIM) and he accepted the job knowing this. He showed up and commenced a session that was not at all tailored to our needs. When she got aggrevated and started barking and snapping, he shoved a food bowl in her face. Mind you, he could have left at any point if he felt uncomfortable. Instead he asked for a mop which he brandished at her. Unsurprisingly, my dog felt antagonised. When eventually he tried to leave she got distressed again. My boyfriend put a blanket over her. Robin then took her from my boyfriend and chucked her in the bathroom, shutting her in, before leaving. My dog was distressed for hours afterwards and we had to take her to the vet where she was prescribed anti-anxiety medication. I texted Robin about my dissatisfaction, who proceeded to say he should have been paid extra for being in harm's way as if he hadn't been told exactly the situation he'd be walking into. He then threatened to call the police on us, saying I threatened him when I mentioned I'd give him a bad review. More...

Robin is FABULOUS. I have to say he is a true dog whisperer. We have an almost 2 year old miniature Dachshund who is quite nervous and lacks confidence when walking on the lead. We did try to train him before but he did not seem to respond to the techniques. I felt he was growing out of his puppy stage and that maybe he was a lost cause. He has always barked at strangers and big dogs. We felt it subsided a bit but then became worse. After our first session with Robin, the changes already started to happen. We have had three sessions with him so far and we have so much of the barking under control. I did not think that this would ever be possible and I know we still have more work to do to build up his confidence even more. Robin is a lovely person and his gentle approach and professional techniques have worked wonders on our dog. We highly recommend him if you want to see some amazing results. More...

My one-of-a-kind, bespoke Puppy Boot Camp (PBC) is the consummate beginning to prepare any puppy for adulthood. Unlike other kennel-based, residential training programmes, the PBC is run from my family home to ensure your puppy can grow in a stress-free environment and learn with a more realistic training experience, enabling a smooth transition when they return home to you.
Puppy Finding
Once you have decided on the perfect pup, I use my experience and intuition to ensure that your puppy has come from a reputable breeder. I search using a number of sources including the Kennel Club and my own little black book of ethical breeders, built up from years of puppy finding.

A well-trained, obedient puppy is a fundamental aspect of responsible dog ownership and essential to your puppy’s overall well-being and happiness. Training from a young age will lead to a well-behaved, well-rounded, and contented adult dog and create a harmonious living environment and happy owner!

Dog training
They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, well I can categorically tell you that this is not true! All dogs, regardless of age, have the capacity to learn and, where necessary, be rehabilitated. A lack of adequate training as a puppy, a breakdown in routine and habit, or a general lack of care and attention can all lead to behavioural problems.
