Very poor communication from the representative when I tried to set up an account with TP. He did not explain the process clearly to me & transferred my ISA funds to TP & was also in the process of transferring my pension fund to TP without having my permission to do so. Fortunately my financial advisor was able to stop the full transfer. I did not hear anything more from TP. Initially very worrying, then annoying & frustrating. Beware — I genuinely believe many of the positive reviews for True Potential are fake. My husband has been through an absolutely torrid time with this firm, and I’ve witnessed the stress it’s caused firsthand. They are incredibly unpleasant to deal with, their communication is dreadful, and they hardly ever respond to messages through the app. To make matters worse, the app is slow to load, clunky, and the managed service offered through it is honestly terrible. When you take a closer look at the 5-star reviews, so many of them feel vague and lack any real detail — which really makes me question how genuine they are.
