I needed the slate roof on my mid-terraced house completely renewed after it had given 145 years of service, but was now severely showing it's age.

I used BARK to find a roofer and 8 replied. 6 were binned as soon as they arrived or very soon after.

LRC and one other company were the only roofers who made a through inspection of the attic area and didn't try to blind me with science (or knowledge of their trade).

It was a difficlult decision to decide which of these 2 companies i would award the work to.

Adam, from LRC was knowledgeable, spoke respectfully to me and didn't treat me as a "muppet", trying to blind me with my lack of knowledge. He gave me a price there and then and backed it up 24 hours later with a written estimate which I accepted almost immediately and a date to start work was agreed.

On the start date, Adam arrived that morning and he stayed "on the job" for the duration of the work. Scaffolders arrived on the first day and erected scaffolding both front and back of the house in super quick time and they, like Adam, were very respectful.

The following day the LRC team arrived on time and set to work immediately stripping the old roof, replaceing rafters etc and the new roof was in place in 2 working day.

Adam pointed out some problems which were unforseen initially and again, we agreed a price and Peter and Merick of LRC carried out this work in the following 2 days.

although the price for the job wasn't the cheapest, theres no doubt that LRC were a good buy and carried out an excllent job, which i'm very happy with.

I can thoroughly recommend LRC and wouldn't hesitate in employing them in the future More...
