Kay is a warm and friendly person who took the time to get to know us and make our ceremony our own. We wanted an informal and fun vibe for our ceremony which she delivered brilliantly, and throughout the process she always communicated to us exactly what she would be providing during the ceremony. Kay also is well known and well liked at the venue we chose (The Mount Without), which made the process run very smoothly.

She also gave us a wealth of tips throughout the process on planning our wedding in general, which was invaluable.

Kay was fantastic. We were recommended Kay and met at a café to get to know each other. We instantly knew that we wanted Kay to lead our ceremony and we are so pleased that we made this decision.

In the build up to the wedding, Kay met with us again and really took the time to get to know us and our story. We went through the plans for the day and the atmosphere that we wanted and Kay was really helpful and supportive in making this happen.

Kay was really proactive in checking that her words and delivery were what we were after and it meant that we were completely relaxed and calm in the build up to the wedding. Kay was also happy to make suggestions and was not put out if we went in a different direction for some things. However, Kay was right in suggesting a singalong for everyone and that part of the ceremony was one of the most memorable parts of our day.

On the day itself, Kay was brilliant. Super relaxed and calm which rubbed off on everyone else. Kay went over the plan with me one more time to check I was confident and prepared for Symone's arrival.

The delivery of the ceremony was perfect. It was a wonderful mix of humour and a subtle nod to tradition, without it being overly "lovey dovey" which is what we had spoken about. Kay included some lovely personal touches, linking Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, with several comments about football, food and drink which are some of our favourite hobbies. Kay was able to tell our story and all of the feedback we have had from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive.

Kay Hamilton was nothing short of incredible. We were originally meant to be getting married in June 2026, but due to family circumstances she quite literally moved mountains to ensure my mum could see us get married in December. Her compassion, flexibility, and genuine care during what was an emotional time for us will never be forgotten.

Kay spent real time getting to know me and my partner. She truly wanted to understand who we are as individuals and as a couple, and it showed so clearly in the ceremony. She captured us perfectly and our request to keep the ceremony quite short. And within the time frame we asked for, she was hilarious, warm, and engaging, had everyone involved, and created an atmosphere that was relaxed, joyful, and full of love. Her words and recommendations were so beautiful.

Kay was an absolute asset to our day, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant. We feel so lucky to have had her be such a meaningful part of our journey and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Kay was absolutely exceptional as the celebrant for my dad, Norman’s farewell. From the very first conversation she brought warmth, empathy and a calm reassurance that meant more than I can put into words during such an emotional time.

She knew my dad but still took the time to speak to the people closest to him and the ceremony reflected him perfectly. It was personal, meaningful, heartfelt and beautifully delivered. Kay held the space with such grace, guiding us through his life while allowing our emotions, tears and love for him to shine through.

So many people commented afterwards on how touching and “right” the ceremony felt, and that is entirely down to Kay. It was a true celebration of my dad’s life and character, and we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting farewell.

We enjoyed having Kay as our wedding celebrant on 14th September 2025. She was warm and friendly, it was also important for us that our wedding celebrant had a sense of humour so it worked out nicely when we realised our sense of humour aligned. What can I say about Kay, other than she was our PERFECT wedding celebrant! My wife and I would not have been happy with anyone else!

We engaged Kay about a year before our wedding date, and she was extremely professional, friendly, and engaging from day dot! We had a couple of meet ups with her over the run up, where we had a lovely informal chat over a cup of tea. She was extremely informative, was able to lean on her previous experiences to be able to recommend and guide us on what we wanted. She knew all the right questions to ask to be able to form an accurate picture of my Wife and I's couple story. It also helped that we bonded with Kay over our love of festivals!

On the wedding day, Kay was absolutely brilliant. She made everything appear so easy, and she had the perfect energy to alleviate our nervousness of being in front of all those people! The ceremony she delivered was spot on, from our couple story, through to including some more traditional bits to honor our heritage, everything went off without a hitch.

All I can say is if you are looking for a laid back, super friendly celebrant, who is genuinely interested in learning about your story, then you cannot go wrong with Kay! 5* is not enough in my opinion! More...

We had a wonderful experience with Kay. She was excellent from the first time we met her and it was clear that she just wanted us to have a great day and that she really really cared about being part of making it personal, enjoyable and beautiful. Not only did we have 2 meetings about the ceremony itself, but Kay also came to the venue with us in advance and gave us advice on the organisation from her experience at the same venue before. When we got home from the day we found that Kay had left some beautiful gifts in our gifts box which were completely unexpected but hugely appreciated. Where to start, Kay is such a wonderful, patient and supportive celebrant! Me and my partner are quite shy and were incredibly nervous for our ceremony, but Kay made us feel so calm and relaxed on the day. We recently had the delight of having Kay as our Wedding Celebrant. The ceremony went so well, it was so relaxed and you made Josh and I at ease. It reflected us as a couple and mirrored all of our hopes of telling a story with funny twists and turns but with the traditional element still there!

Kay is an incredible Celebrant.
Kay met with us as a family and spoke with us about Mum enabling us to remember all the happy times we spent together as well as recognising the part of Mum we had lost due to her dementia. We laughed at some of Mums antics and shared the love that she had for everyone. Kay then wrote an amazing Eulogy which captured mum perfectly. Together with Lisa from Hengrove Coop funeral care she guided us through the ceremony allowing us to make it as personal for mum as we could. Kay sent us many poems which we perused to choose ones which perfectly described Mum and our memories of her. Family who were unable to travel to the funeral felt included as Kay addressed them during the service which was streamed to them.
I cannot recommend Kay highly enough. She was amazing, supported us and hugged us when we needed it. Her care and compassion together with her understanding and sense of humour is second to none.
