PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. The main man "John" was a nightmare to deal with from start to finish. Was recommend these guys through bark so went ahead with them as John quoted us a reasonable amount to renovate our back yard. At first things were fine when he came out to do the measurements of the garden and give us a quote was quite friendly, he assured that he would do a cement wash before starting any work to prevent minimum to no weed growing back in the future (as this was my main concern, which I made very clear to him multiple times before agreeing to go ahead with them). The day they came to do the work, concrete and weed was taken up as expected, I then spoke to one of the lads who was working on the garden mentioned to him too about my concerns (the weed) he advised they will lay down a weed membrane to prevent that before getting the pavers down and run it through John too (that never happened, neither did the cement wash) and when we questioned it we was told we're asking too many questions?? And John started effing and jeffing, huffing and puffing about it over the phone?! Even threatening to take the pavers all back up and leave them on the side of the road because he doesn't give a F??? Apparently the job was only for 2.5k so it wasn't worth the hassle to him (his words).. eventually we managed to sort it with John the so called professional.. before laying the pavers down we sent John images of the exact style and design I wanted for the garden which was in herringbone. Come the day the pavers were laid down when we showed the picture reference to one of the lads as to why it's looking a little different we were told the pavers weren't laid down in herringbone style nor were they the correct size for the herringbone design, however they were told to lay it down that way with the wrong pavers as John told them to the main guy. The lads working for him were really nice and unfortunately they had no say in anything, as everything had to run past him for approval. To make matters worse he refused to execute the design the way we wanted to as they will need to do more cuts and that "will not look nice" according to him. Making all these excuses because it will take him and his team the "whole day" just to make the cuts, which they didn't want to do (mind you they were only on the second day for the job) and reluctantly we agreed to it in the end as his team were there the whole day grafting away in the heatwave, so we felt bad and felt pressured to just go with it. I regret it because the garden looks nothing like we wanted. Alot of the design does not align or look uniformed. They used the cheapest material and rushed the job didnt even care to do it properly, just wanted the money and get it over and done with. Pulled a fast one on us. John is a COWBOY builder. Would NOT recommend him to anyone, even my worst enemy. For someone who claims to have 17 years of experience in the field is far from a professional, have never dealt with a service this appalling my entire life. Will be reporting him to trading standards as this guy is not fit to trade. Would rate this guy 0 stars if it was down to me.

This Review Is Lies! Now Ive Had Good Reviews and bad reviews Not once have i responded as i belive in the 17 year experience of doing ground work or any job really that you cant please them all! Now this woman was impossible to work for The job got done how she wanted and how she asked, she stood for hours and hours watching the Lads Lay Down The Centre and not once did she mention about the design, now at the end off it she decided to tell us that is not the right design me my self john the owner repeatly said i would lift them back up and lay them back down in a different pattern my team off lads also agreed to it the customer would not let us! I can assure you i am no cow boy builder im a man just trying to earn money for my family in the correct way possible for this woman to wait days after the job was complete to be putting “bad reviews” on my page is very unfair as why would you pay for somthing if its not what you wanted ? I wasnt even there when she sent the payment so i am very confused in this review! I hope it has brung you good joy in trying to ruin some ones buisness ! I have 5 children i need every penny i can get. How Could I Make You Feel pressured into paying when i wasnt there ! Now i have photos of this job & i will post them on my profile (last photos posted) plesse feel free to let me know if im a “COWBOY” ALSO REGAURDING THE CEMENT WASH! The Cement was was only mentioned as we was using it on the old concrete to prapare it for tarmac wich then she decided she wanted resin then she decided she didnt want resin she wanted block paving if im being completely honest i dont think this customer even knew what she wanted her self WE ESCAVATED THE OLD CONCRETE OUT THERE FOR WE DID NOT NEED THE CEMENT WASH AS WHAT WAS WE GONNA USE IT ON HARDCORE? We was only using it to seal the cracks as when she give me the job we was doing tarmac !!!!

I agreed a price with John to lift and relay flagstones that were sloping towards my wall leaving water pooling just below the damp course,he started work the next day with Hussain to relay the flags on a slight gradient away from the wall towards a grassed area beside the fence which is what we discussed he brought to my attention some of the flags were a different size to others but as a paviour I would assume he would compansate for that as I said to him,however when they had finished some of the flags were uneven which were a trip hazard by which time the light was fading however they rectified them,this morning when I went out the gradient falls down the side of the wall (covering 1 brick on damp course ) instead of away from the house I paid £900 for this and Im not happy when I spoke to him his answer was as long as the water does'nt pool it will be okay the fact that it was not what he agreed does"nt seem to matter I would not have paid him if I had seen this the night before !!!!

I would definitely recommend John and his lads for the work they have just completed on my drive. I was given a quote within a day and work started the week after. Lads are very friendly and work completed taking 3 days. Cannot thank them all enough More...

Fantastic job done by John and his team. Hard workers and professional. Highly recommended.

Responded very quickly, got quote same day as John came in person, work carried out within 3 days to a high standard, his team are hardworking and friendly, tarmac driveway looks great, would recommend
