Our book club wanted to capture a special book club meeting which happened to be our first get together after the pandemic.

We had planned a walking tour in central London followed by afternoon tea at an iconic Central London location. We were nervous about finding a Photograher who would understand our vision for this beautiful event and most importantly someone who would make members of the book club feel at ease to capture everyone feeling and looking their best.

We realised when we met Jack that we didn’t need to be worried. Prior to this shoot we had a discussion about our day and important aspects of the day to capture. Jack was punctual, professional, friendly and made us feel at ease. The photographs of this special event were stunning. Jack took photos that captured a magical day. We are all so proud of the images which we have shared with family and friends. Jack paid attention to detail during our location photo shoot, checking the lighting, position to ensure images were perfect before we moved on to the next location. Everyone felt relaxed with Jack during the photo shoot , it felt like we had met him previously.

Called Jack a few days before our event for my dad's 50th birthday garden BBQ and he managed to have a free slot available. He came on time and was professional from the start. It was a pleasure to work with Jack. He has a gift for interviewing people and getting them to tell the story in a fluent and relaxed way. He also coped very well with difficulties at the event broadcasting the zoom and improving the sound and dealing with people not knowing what they were doing! I recommend him very highly. One point I would make. The whole project has cost much more than expected and I think the initial costings need to reflect this. The rate per hour must be stated for extra work at the beginning then the client can decide how much budget to allocate. Jack has been flexible about this even paying for necessary equipment himself.
