I have always wanted to have something done with my teeth ,I was unhappy mainly with my front teeth,the shape & especially the colour ,I had tried whitening trays but I could never get the right shade ,I sent my details along & Megan sorted all my payments&appointment times that worked for me . I found Horsforth Smile Clinic, on line ,I booked a consultation,to discuss my options,i was very nervous but Dr Fraz put me at ease ,I couldn’t believe the price ,I went for the 20 compositebonds .booked in on a Saturday for a clean ,then on the Sunday was the big day ,I was so excited.When I arrived the room was warmed for when I entered,& asked my choice of music ,this was lovely,after having a chat & choosing my colour also taking a mould for a bite guard ,the work started,3 hours later I had my Amazing 20 new teeth ,Dr Fraz & his assistant was 100% professional,& went above and beyond,before i got chance to look in the mirror everything was checked to make sure they were perfect.When I got the mirror I couldn’t believe they were my teeth ,this as given me the confidence I needed & I can’t stop smiling.I received my mouth guard through the post ,I wear this every night as I did grind my teeth ,this gives added protection for chips etc !I’ve had another check up 3 weeks later ,with no problems what so ever ,I now have to go back probably twice yearly for a clean ,but can book a appointment at any time I need to .I can’t Thank the team enough,I would recommend the clinic to anyone.😁! I had composite bonding and fixed retainers done here in April last year, costing ALOT of money . Since then, I’ve had ongoing problems that have never been properly resolved. The same tooth has chipped repeatedly every couple of months, and despite returning multiple times, I felt dismissed rather than supported or taken seriously.More recently, the metal fixed retainers have started chipping off and causing significant discomfort. When I contacted the clinic, I was told I would need to pay for repairs, even though I believed this should be covered under my warranty. I never signed anything regarding the retainers, as they were fitted on the day of treatment, so the sudden extra charges feel unclear and unfair.Booking appointments has also become extremely difficult. I’ve been offered very limited and inconvenient slots, often only weekends between 4–9pm, which I cannot attend. It feels like I’m being pushed into times that don’t work for me rather than being helped.I originally left a positive review straight after treatment, but after nearly a year of ongoing issues, lack of support, and unexpected costs, I feel it’s important to share my honest experience. For the price I paid, I expected far better aftercare and communication.At this point, I’ll be seeking treatment elsewhere and unfortunately cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience. I broke my front tooth and have issues with teeth grinding in my sleep. My constant biting had unfortunately taken its toll on my teeth making them sensitive. My enamel is very thin so It was suggested by another dentist that I would benefit from composite bonding to help protect my teeth. I went to see Dr Fraz , he was absolutely brilliant , I ended up going for the lot doing and had the CB on 20 teeth. The 1st appointment was mainly the plan / clean / prep for 1hr, second appointment was for 3hrs to do all the composite bonding. No pain , no anaesthetic required. All done in one weekend. Great advice , the guys an artist and my smile has never looked so good. Thank you so much they look so natural in normal light and are exactly what I wanted. They've just cancelled my fourth appointment this year, the first two were with the dentist, the last two were hygienist appointments. Every cancellation has been by text message so I have to phone them, it's just lazy and unprofessional. When I phone up to reschedule the staff have never apologised even once. One of the cancellations happened at 4.40pm the day before the appointment. They're way too unreliable, I'm sick of booking time off to attend appointments just to be messed around. I've found another dentist that is much cheaper too. This one is very expensive, I expected more for what I was paying. I've only seen a hygienist once there, a woman called Vanessa. She had a bad cold that day and although she wore a mask while she cleaned my teeth she was sniffing and doing that gross phlegm snorting sound during the whole 30 minute appointment while leaning over me, it was nauseating. I recently had a consultation on a tooth implant, the emailing was very misleading it read our implants start from £1, 900 per tooth you pay separate for ct scan x rays that’s not included in your implant bill. Cost of seeing a hygienist is prohibitive when a nhs patient & this was/should be something done by the dentist as part of the treatment. 20 years ago teeth being cleaned was a routine procedure after having a dental check-up. What inspired you to start your own business?
The inspiration to start our own business came from many years ago. My father started Huque Chaudhry Associates in the 70's with my Uncle, and I was able to get involved over 7 years ago.
My inspiration came from a few clients who we had known for quite some time, and understanding the deep connection they had with our business, not treating it like a number, but treating it like real people with real business problems who need help.
