Site visit to estimate time and cost by Saf who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The work was carried out to a high standard by Craig and the cost was within the terms accepted by me. Highly recommended !

I'm sorry you were unhappy with the installation. We clearly mark the position of the TV with masking tape to reconfirm with clients the position to be mounted before commencing drilling. Once the client has approved the position and the TV is then mounted, changing the position of the TV requires a completely new installation. Previous bolts need to be removed from the wall and holes redrilled. We are happy to move the TV lower, but this is technically a new installation and will therefore have to be paid for. Although we have recommended heights for installing TVs there is no set standard. The final position is always determined by the client as some prefer TVs to be higher or lower than than others.

3rd TV and soundbar I've had fitted by Home Cinematic along with an excellent solution to hide the cables. It's a shame I cannot post photographs here.

They did a tidy and neat job placing my TV and soundbar on my bedroom wall. Good rates too.

I'm so glad I used Home Cinematic to fit our 85" Samsung TV weighing over 50kgs. They used a large and extremely solid bracket compared to the bracket that came with the TV instead and must have used at least 16 wall fixings. When I bought the TV I wasnt sure if it was safe to mount such a heavy TV on the wall. I now know that the TV is securely and safely mounted. These guys are pros. More...

Two TVs installed with soundbars mounted and cables concealed. Did a brilliant job. Highly recommended.

I would steer clear.
We wanted our TV mounted and the cables concealed in the wall. We were told this was doable. We were also informed (as I believe they inform most customers) that they could provide the bracket.

The installer came over, asked if we had a bracket, and was shown what we had (this was too small as it was for a 42inch tv, with the current tv to mount being 65inches). Installer said it was fine and mounted it. This caused the telly to tilt forward terribly.

Now to conceal the cables: after mounting the tv, they proceeded to tell us that the wall was an external wall and concealing a cable will be too much trouble. I was dealing with Saf who suggested panelling instead as it would be neater and some other logistics suggested. He also offered to change the brackets to the right size.

This was in July. Almost 4 months on and I haven’t been able to get this work done. I have cables hanging from the tv and find myself postponing any kind of visits or get together as it my living room just looks terrible as they’ve left it. Bearing in mind that a lot of “temporary” fixes were done to adjust the tilt pending the time the bracket was changed.

Now the worst part - the company no longer takes my calls or responds to my messages. They are ignoring me, thereby living me with more expenses than initially set out as I would need someone to fix the mess first, then get the work done.

As stated earlier, I would steer clear as they don’t appear to have any form of integrity. More...

I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our service. Although we do carry our own brackets, we do not force our brackets on customers if they already have their own. Your bracket although previously fitted to a 42 inch TV was suitable for your 65 inch TV otherwise we would not have been able to install your TV. We in fact completed the job, showed it to your husband who was satisfied with the job and paid us promptly. The next day we were informed by you that you were unhappy with the TV tilting forward even though the bracket provided by you was in fact a tilting bracket. I drove back up to see your TV and informed you that the only issue was that we had used the bracket provided by you which was fitted securely. You also requested that you wanted the cables to be hidden and I suggested panneling as an option which you agreed to. However When I informed you that replacing the bracket would incur an additional charge you claimed that we should do it for free. Had our workmanship been faulty we would have been more than happy to rectify the work at no extra charge. As it is, your TV has been securely mounted using your bracket. The only reason the TV tilts is because the bracket provided by you is a tilting bracket. With regards to the hiding of cables we would advise using another service provider to get the work done.

Had Home Cinematic install a home theatre system, multi-screen trading station and office. Well planned installation that went without a hitch, completed on time, within budget and looks stunning.
