Holland gas replaced my boiler and radiators, they attended the initial survey meetings and discussed options with me, when I asked them to adjust the quote they did so quickly. I was able to book the dates I requested for the work. The job took longer than expected but the engineer provided an electric heater for me for that evening.We did have a few hiccups , Lorraine in the office though is excellent, professional, friendly and listened to my concerns, her communication was excellent and they were able to complete the work before my visitors came at the weekend.The guys were clean and tidy and hoovered up, they made sure they covered my carpets and were respectful when inside my house.I have not given 5 stars because the job did take longer than expected and I think there could have been a slightly more proactive approach to this at the end of day 2 when it would have been predictable.However I would definitely use Holland Gas again and have no hesitation in recommending them , especially Lorraine, to anyone who reads this. Our boiler gave its last on Monday, so I entered the terrifying world of trying to find a "good" plumber. I happened upon Holland Gas's website, which I felt was "human" and reassuring, so I asked them for help.

Well, help they did !

Craig (Holland, owner) came around almost straight away (he was already nearby) and tried to fix it there and then, but it was so old it simply had to be replaced (as I'd already suspected).

By the Friday (yesterday) I had a new boiler all fitted and working (we were away from Weds to Fri anyway, so it was the earliest we could do ourselves).

The guys who arrived (Liam & Jamie) were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, hard-working and polite. They worked from 11am until 5pm seemingly without a break, or a complaint.

They tidied up after themselves and even mortar-filled a hole left by moving the flue (a job I'd earmarked for myself over the weekend).

I was thoroughly impressed by Holland Gas in all respects, and would *definitely* recommend them to others (have done already).

I'll be using them again, that's for sure. More...

We anticipated a very costly repair on our bathroom plumbing, as all our water was backing up into the sink and bath. After ringing Holland gas, I had the pleasure of getting some amazing advice over the phone! Instead of coming out to 'look at the problem', triggering a call out charge, they gave us problem solvers over the phone! From the advice given we were able to fix it ourselves. Absolutely amazing today, they couldn't get out to me to fix the fault on my boiler because of the snow and ice everywhere, but Craig took his time and helped me over the phone, not a permanent fix but I have heating and hot water always good and trying to help where possible

You all know how it goes it comes to end of working hours and you get home and walk in to a freezing cold house and run to the boiler only to find absolutely nothing no lights no noise nadda not a dam thing so you start searching Google for local tradesmen and start ringing round to no avail and then Holland gas pops up so you dial the number and expect to be fobbed off with I'm too busy or it's going to cost you your soul to get me out at this time of night but what you actually get when the phone is answered is a chap called Craig who is a very friendly polite and helpful fella who's actually willing to help even when you can hear family mayhem in the backround! I couldn't recommend anybody else any better than him hes an absolute star and has really got me out of a sticky situation especially with young kids here at home ! So when your stuck and down and out just give him a call and remember to wave at his grey and orange vans when you see them on there way to rescue somebody else's day!Thank you again Holland gas!!!! Holland Gas had been recommended to me by a friend, and i'm so grateful i learned about them.The jobs included fixing my boiler's low pressure, dripping taps, and a leaking pipe. The boiler had been looked at by 2 other companies, and they failed to fix any of the problems with it. All visits were carried out on time, within a specified time-frame on the day, and quote. We use them for all of our plumbing and maintenance on over 200 properties, and we certainly wouldn't go anywhere else. Craig was extremely professional and helpful, giving me advice on the best system for my house and what alterations would be needed. Assessment of my boiler and estimate for the work were both completed on the same day. On the day of the boiler fitting, he arrived promptly at 8 o'clock on the dot and finished 12 hours later, having worked solidly. There was no mess and everything was left working and warm!
