Our old drive was so ugly and covered in weeds. We had our back garden landscaped 5 years ago and we were in desperate need to do something about the water ingress around the house they left us with.
So we got in touch with the ground work specialists Grayden Resin Craft.
About a month after our home site visit a date was set for the work to start.
I think I was told they removed 50 tons of soil and rubble from the drive, around the side of the house and back garden, to make way for a large concrete base they were laying ready for a new sun house, and Springtime resin, edged in cobblestones all around the house and back garden.
We had regular communication going over the plan and checking in with us to make sure all was well.
They also took our neighbours into consideration whilst working on such a large job.
What an incredible transformation it turned out to be. It has exceeded our expectations, all we want to do is sit in our new sun house overlooking the garden, it’s all so fresh and clean, and no more weeding the driveway.
If you are looking for a resin driveway or patio, I would give these guys a call before anyone else, we cant fault anything, the work is quality.

From the first enquiry we knew we would choose Grayden Resin Craft, as the site man who visited our home quoted a price we were happy with and no hidden costs. The reason we chose a resin drive was the water ingress from a previous landscaper.We were assured this would disappear as the resin was permeable and drainage problems would go.We also have a motorhome so this would be perfect to withstand heavy traffic.We went for the colour Springtime and decided on a full dig out.Over the next few weeks the work grew to having the back garden and along the side of the house done too and a large concrete base put down ready for a new sunhouse.Nothing was any trouble for these guys to deal with.It was a large job!Work started in February and was non stop for several weeks, we were kept informed along the way and we would go over the plan to make sure we were all on the same wavelength.There were changes along the way which Grayden Resin were more than happy to sort out for us.It’s been 2 weeks today since the job has been fully completed, and it looks absolutely fantastic.It’s like walking outside into carpet!Rain, what rain? Very happy with my driveway from these guys. I am somewhat picky and difficult customer but they delivered and I am very satisfied. At first I thought I was all too good to be true because the cost, time frames and quality all seemed to be very reasonable. I was worried about drainage but after a good few months now, a bunch of storms and really rainy days, the drive has remained absolutely fine with no puddles, very easy to clean and no chipping whatsoever. Our drive and paths have just been completed. We are very pleased with the final result. It really sets off the look of the whole property. It enhances the kirb appeal and has transformed a shoddy parking area into and appealing space that can be used for sitting in the sun as well as for parking and safe pedestrian access to our home. All the workers were friendly but worked hard with an emphasis on quality and doing a proper job. Im sure the opperation usually goes according to the timed plan but there was a delay due to an unfoeseen operational issue. Joe, Shaun and Mich were great guys they worked hard our job was a big one with a lot of awkward pieces but they got it all done. We do have a couple of concerns as at the last piece to be done they put more sand down before putting the resin on so is it thick enough? We found Grayden Resin drives to be excellent! Everyone we dealt with were knowledgeable friendly and very clear about every stage of the process. We had the resin from front, down the side of the house and the patio at the back,so it was quite a big job. The 3 men that came to do the work , Joe, Mitchel, and Sean were brilliant. Very professional company from the initial meeting with Alec, who was very patient as we procrastinated about which colour resin to go for. The follow up communication to provide regular updates regarding installation date, timings (minor delay due to our typical unpredictable British weather!) Joe and his team did a great job on the installation, thorough preparation, including removing and distributing current gravel driveway around our shared courtyard to fill in patches as requested. They patiently repaired the edging stonework the day after they laid it as some idiot Amazon driver drove over it the night they left. Having seen the product installed locally was happy to request a quotation. Survey was prompt and efficient. Quote included additional work on drainage to the property and this was arranged and carried out very well and at a reasonable price. Preparations were a large part of the task and well done. Resin laying was quick and looks great, but be aware it is very much dependant on the weather so won't always follow preparation quickly.
