So pleased we choose a car from Gold Wedding Cars to be part of the day for my step daughters wedding. From first contact right up to the day Stuart and Jenny were absolutely superb in making sure we got what we wanted on the day, talking us through everything. Any calls or emails were answered by return, so there was never a moment where you were left just wondering what was happening. On the day the timings were spot on and our driver Zak was excellent, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him for our ride to the venue and then the bride and groom for photos later. We booked a double decker red bus for our wedding day to take our guests from the church to our reception venue. It was only a short journey and due to the number of guests it required two journey's but it all ran so smoothly on the day and the bus was exactly how we wanted it. Jenny & the Gold Wedding Cars team were super responsive and easy to deal with through the booking process and in the lead up to the wedding and it all went perfectly on the day. Thank you to Stuart and Jenny at Gold Chauffeur Services. The service from start to finish was professional. Anyone planning a wedding will understand the stress involved and the importance of the day. The bus and taxi turned up on time and everyone had a great time on the journey. The only advice I would give anyone is that you must book extra time because getting your guests from the service out to take photos then onto the bus in time to get to the venue is extremely difficult and you will be charged for any extra time. We used GOLD Chauffeur Services for our daughters wedding and they were marvellous. Stuart and Jenny in the office were really friendly and helpful and Stuart made me laugh every time I talked to him I think! Whilst I tried to arrange to see the car we had booked beforehand, this was not possible, which did make me a bit anxious, but I needn't have worried... On the day, Sean was our chauffeur and he was punctual and friendly also - and the bride and groom appreciated the sweeties and drink he had for them after the ceremony. We used GOLD Cars for our wedding recently. Upon enquiring, I received a phone call from Stuart who talked me through all of the cars and costs, etc. We had a really lovely chat and I decided there and then I wanted to use them. Communication with Jenny was great from booking all the way through to the day of the wedding. Gorgeous car, lovely Chauffeur We hired 'Charlotte' for our wedding day on 27th April 2024 and could not have been happier! From the moment we saw her on the website, we knew she was the one! She was an absolutely beautiful colour! Stuart was so friendly on the initial call and Jenny was very helpful and understanding when we had to make some last minute changes. 😀From the moment I made an inquiry to the very last drop off, it was a friendly and excellent service. I initially spoke to Stuart to book the car, a perfect coloured car that matched my daughters wedding colour scheme. Stuart was as excited as my daughter about that one and was and really so down to earth and so relatable. A nervous time for all involved when planning a wedding and Stuart put my mind at ease very soon during our initial conversation. The time between the initial conversation and ensuring all details had gone through with a fine tooth comb, I was in contact with Jenny who was very thorough, approachable and knowledgeable. The timing on the day could not have been any more spot on than it was, this included the very kind gesture of stuart taking photos of my daughter and I when he picked us up to head for the church. The Photographer had gone onto the church at this point and clearly Stuart saw this and without me even asking him, he took many photos and forwarded them to me. The wedding and photographs took much longer than we anticipated and Stuart never blinked an eye. In addition, When he took my wife and I to the reception, he also took one of the Maids of honour and a friend who was not too mobile. I did wonder if I would have to pay a little extra for the time but there was not even a slightest suggestion of this. I would definitely recommend this service to any of my friends or family. I had an excellent telephone response from Stuart Twitchen.
However the black cab arrived with none of the flowers adorning the inside the one ribbon on the front and the small white flower were shoddy.
The driver was disinterested . He said he was sub contracted.
we were running late but our time allocation just covered it.

Great communication, up until the night before the wedding when a small change was made which was easily accommodated. Absolutely amazing service. We hire the Jaguar Daimler for our wedding on the 9th September. Our driver Stuart was absolutely fantastic, such a lovely guy, making sure we got all the photos we needed. The car was beautiful, so clean and just perfect. We booked a Routemaster Bus through Gold Drive for our Wedding in London and they were fantastic. It was reasonably priced compared to other quotes we received, the communication was excellent from Jenny and Stuart and the bus on the day was fantastic! We hired the ‘Charlotte’ a 1965 Daimler V8 with MK II body in metallic Silver Blue for our wedding day. The car was stunning and added something extra special to our day. The communication and help from Jenny & Stuart was 5* throughout. Our Chauffeur, John went out of his way to help us in every way he could throughout our day, and we are so grateful to him! He made sure to chat away to us to calm the nerves on the journey there, and took pictures of me and my Dad in the car which he text over straight away. After the service, he found us to give us some water and tissues which was very much needed at that point! He also treated us to a little drive around the village so we could have some time to ourselves before the madness started at the Reception. Driving around the countryside in the Daimler on such a lovely spring day will probably be one of our highlights. Stuart and Jenny provided good customer service but have to give 3* due to the miserable chauffeur on the wedding day. You pay good money to hire a car out for 5 hours only to be told by the chauffeur you can't drive here or there to take pictures on your wedding day whilst also being threatened that he will drive off if you don't get in the car for the privilege. Excellent Chauffeur Service - Highly recommended - Lovely people to deal with. I found GOLD via searching online for chauffeur companies that acquired great reputations/reviews to help ensure a hassle and trouble free experience for my wedding day. I was looking for a Bentley, and the company GOLD had the exact car and colour I was looking for. In fact they had lots I could have chosen from but this was the one I had in mind. From first call to the final drop off at our reception, the service was absolutely SUPERB! Jenny, who handles the admin, kept me updated leading up to the wedding day and provided driver name and contact info in advance, she double checked timings etc. I called Mark (our driver) on our wedding day and asked if he could get to the address a little earlier, no problem. My now wife, commented on how courteous and helpful he was. The vehicle was spotless both inside and out (white leather interior). When travelling to the reception after the wedding, our driver Mark was so accommodating, witty etc and never drove too fast, ensuring we could enjoy the experience and arrive rested. What GOLD helped to make, was a perfect wedding day. We can't thank them enough for this and would recommend them to anyone looking for a superior all round service, more than just a beautiful car.
