I arranged a spread of food for a family funeral from Milissia. She talked me through all my options & was extremely patient. I was worried about the food not being enough, but I had nothing to worry about, it was more than generous & so tasty too…especially the samasoas! Many people asked what catering company do I use? We recently used Francesca's Catering & Cakes for our seniors Tea Party, and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided. They delivered a delicious assortment of sandwiches, vol-au-vents, spring rolls, bagels, cheese and biscuits all beautifully presented and fresh. The homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were a particular highlight and went perfectly with the teas and coffee they also provided. Plates, napkins and cutlery were provided.

They arrived on time and were highly professional. Our guests were very impressed with the quality and variety provided.

This is my third occasion of using Francesca's Catering Cakes. This time for a Wake with approx 150+ people. Mel (the owner and Chef) was in regular contact to ensure that she understood what was required and delivered to the brief. Both Mel and her team are highly professional, set high standards and do not disappoint. We had an extensive buffet menu and there was lots to sample. Great food and amazing dessert. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mel's services and will no doubt be back for more (the best accolade for a Chef). I ordered a cake for 70 people for my friend (who breeds horses) for her 75th birthday. The cake was huge and wonderfully decorated with horses, fences, grass and even a feeding trough. The most fantastic catering service. Francesca, Milissia and Frank organised the most beautiful multi-course Christmas meal for my private Christmas event at home for 20 people. The food was insanely good, and they set up in 30 mins to ensure all was ready to be served, warmers ready and food food to go. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. Melissia made the most beautiful cake for my 60th Birthday! It was much more than I expected. Would highly recommend her.

We ordered from Francesca's for our work event and we were very impressed with everything from the communication to the tasty food and good portion sizes.

We have used Francesca's catering services 4 times now and been extremely happy each time! Great service, lovely tasty food and always happy to help!

Millissa provided a 55th birthday bespoke cake and dropped off a self service caribbean buffet food package my picnic birthday in London in July 2024.

All of the guests were appreciative and happy with the *various spread and commented on the flavours and taste.

After posting my request I was sent a message only 15 minutes later asking me to view their Instagram page where I was able to find photos and contact information for the baker. I rang them and told them I needed the cake in only 4 days time. My order was accepted and a reasonable price agreed. We used WhatsApp to ask and answer questions about some details for the cake such as type of icing and bespoke message. The cake was delivered on the agreed date in good time with advice to put it the fridge to prevent it from melting which worked well. Everyone who tasted it said how “moist” and “delicious” it was. It looked great and the icing was very good too. The size was perfect and we had plenty for the party plus enough to send back to some friends that couldn’t make to the party.
So thank you so much for your excellent cake, made at short notice and with great customer delivery service.

Francesca’s did our wedding buffet and cake and the food was AMAZING - they did a mix of African and Indian dishes and all the guests said how delicious it all was. I wanted to wholeheartedly thank Milissia and her team for making my son's Holy Communion an incredibly special event. Not only was the food delicious, but their organisation and flexibility helped me in so many ways including, but not limited to being able to releave the stress I've had of preparation, service, cleanup etc. Milissia is a wonderful person who approached me with so much heart, support and care that went way beyond a typical service. She has also been kind enough to create a truly beautiful baloon decoration for us that was an absolute feature for the room. So exceptionally grateful! Milissia and her family were charming, very helpful, kept in touch, were very prompt and provided an excellent and attractive cold buffet range at a good price. Everything was all well received and appreciated by my guests. Here are a few constructive and positive suggestions to make it even better. The vol au vents had too much pastry and not enough filling, the couscous would have looked more appealing it if had a garnish of parsley or coriander, and we think that the quiche would have looked more appealing as one large quiche rather than little slices. The only thing we didn't like was the hand-written labels stuck on the cling film describing each dish. The presentation would look far more professional if the description labels are typed or pre-printed rather like table setting place name cards.

Listen! I cannot recommend Francescas Catering and cakes highly enough! Ideal for that special event.
I have used them for my daughter's 30th (100 people) and my 65th (125 people) birthday parties, last year and this. Food buffet quality is excellent, as is the variety. Service is great, so cheerful and positive and important details are remembered and very well looked after. Decor ,including balloon arches, chair covers, table and room decorations, is fabulous, creating a classy, themed feel to what were important events. Can do cake, bar/welcome drinks etc and they did videos of our evenings too.
