Absolutely trash! Stay clear! I paid for a PSU to be replaced back in July 2026. For a month my PC was quiet. Before the end of August (been ill) the same fault is showing up. I have to wonder if he changed the PSU! Am I just unlucky to have a second* PSU fail again? I don't think so! Poor quality workmanship. When I can get my PC to someone better I'll have it fixed by a professional! I even paid him for collection and delivery. Before you ask Tommy, no you can't have your hands on it again! Be careful — you may be overcharged for even the most basic work.I tried to find out how much they would charge to install my own phase-change thermal pad on both my CPU and GPU. The first time I contacted them, I was quoted £120.However, their website clearly states that the maximum price for thermal paste replacement and cleaning is £55–£105.During our conversation, I specifically explained again that I would be bringing my own phase-change thermal pad, so there was no reason to charge £120 for what would essentially be cleaning and replacing the thermal interface material.They then offered me a “discount” as a first-time customer and reduced the price to £108— which is actually £3 more than the maximum price advertised on their own website! When I pointed out this obvious pricing discrepancy and what appeared to be an attempt to overcharge me, they simply stopped replying.So please be careful. Check their advertised prices carefully before agreeing to anything, and don't let yourself be overcharged. Went in for a ps5 clean up and overheating issue, they went back on their word of same day work (told me to come back the next day even though they said if I arrived before 4:30pm I’d get it same day) Only for me to go back the next day and they’ve partly cleaned my ps5 and they want me to just take their word that they’ve done the overheating work (liquid) I’m just going to take my loss and move on which is a shame because they’re local to me but I DONT RECOMMEND THEM. I contacted Rafal at FixIT after searching for a local computer repair service. From the start he was helpful and clear about the likely charges, which I found to be very reasonable. I took my laptop to the shop in Southgate but he does do home visits to collect or service. Laptop Broken Screen
