About

This isn’t a standard dog walking service. I specialise in solo, one-to-one walks for complex dogs. Whether your dog is reactive, anxious, unsuited to group walks, or you simply want them to have tailored individual care, I create safe, ethical, dog-led experiences that meet their needs and give them safety, agency, and the chance to truly be themselves.

My doggie gets an very well with Martha and vice versa. Always punctual for walkies and clearly has expertise with dogs. Over all we're both very happy with FFP and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. More...

Q&As

I specialise in one-to-one walks, not pack walks. My focus is on complex dogs that many walkers won’t take on, or those who simply cannot be walked in a group. These include dogs with reactivity, anxiety, frustration, or hyperactivity, dogs who need more than just exercise. What I love most is watching them settle into calm, dog-led walks, and knowing their guardians finally have peace of mind. As the guardian of a complex dog myself, I know how stressful it can be to trust someone else, which is why I prefer working with these dogs and giving them the expert care they deserve.

My own dog inspired me to start this business. As a guardian of a complex, reactive dog, I struggled to find a walker I could trust, someone who understood behaviour, body language, and how to manage the environment so he could stay calm and recover after stress. When I couldn’t find that service, I decided to create it. Now I provide the kind of one-to-one, specialist walks I wished existed for my own dog.

Clients choose me because I specialise in one-to-one walks for dogs with complex needs—reactive, anxious, easily frustrated, or high-energy. I have extensive experience handling these behaviours safely for many clients, managing the environment, reading body language, and supporting each dog so they can regulate and enjoy their walk. As a guardian of a complex dog myself, I also understand how stressful it can be to trust someone else. That combination of professional experience and personal insight is why clients come to me: they know their dog is in expert, understanding hands.

Services

We specialise in one-to-one walks for complex, sensitive, excitable, or challenging dogs who need skilled handling and individual attention.

Walks are available in 30 or 45 minutes and are tailored to each dog. Every walk is dog-led, focusing on decompression, choice, and autonomy.

Sensory enrichment visits give your dog the chance to explore new textures, tastes, and experiences while building confidence, body awareness, and coordination through gentle, self-directed movement.

Each session is based on ACE Freework principles and tailored to your dog’s needs. Ideal for puppies, older dogs, or those recovering from illness or injury, visits last 30–45 minutes and include full set-up and clear-up of the enrichment stations.

Each 45-minute session combines structured training with real-world practice, with time built in for focused work, breaks, and decompression. These walks help dogs build skills such as loose-lead walking, focus, and calm engagement.

Sessions follow an ACE-informed structure and are tailored to your dog’s behavioural goals. Ideal for young puppies or nervous dogs, all walks use kind, ethical methods. Availability is limited.
