I was connected with Nair José, and from our very first phone conversation, I knew immediately that he would live up to the recommendation. He was polite, kind, respectful, and genuinely engaging—someone with effortless professionalism and a warm personality. Add to that real class and a stunning fleet of vehicles, and you have the perfect formula for an exceptional experience.Nair picked me up at London Heathrow Airport, arriving ahead of schedule. One of the thoughtful touches I truly appreciated was receiving text messages from him letting me know exactly which baggage claim to go to—he knew before I did. As soon as I exited the secure area, Nair was right there waiting for me. He immediately took my bag and escorted me to his immaculate S-Class Mercedes.Not a single detail was overlooked. Doors were opened, luggage was handled seamlessly, and I was offered chilled still or sparkling water for the ride into London. Sensing that I might be tired, Nair thoughtfully asked whether I preferred to nap or if I’d like him to point out landmarks and share insights as we drove. Robert was our driver. He awaited us in Heathrow Airport and drove us to the Claremont Victoria. Then he drove us from the hotel to Richmond for the Ted Lasso Tour. Following the Ted Lasso Tour he drove us back to our hotel. He was polite, well dressed, and conversed with us Throughout the drive about London, Richmond, and the surrounding sites. We were flying into London. Our first time to Europe from the US. I'm a nervous nelly, and didn't want to rely on Uber. PLUS we had a day trip planned for the very next day and didn't feel confident we'd have The Tube mastered in less than 24 hours. AND, I wasn't sure an Uber would go that distance (12 miles away). I was so very grateful to have found Executive Carriages. The driver was waiting for us at Heathrow with a sign (he was well-dress and it was like in the movies). His car was beautiful and he was polite. We were dropped at our hotel with our luggage, and the next day, he was outside waiting for us when we stepped outside 5 minutes early for our pick up. For me, it’s not just transportation. It’s hospitality, trust, and creating an experience people remember positively.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always had a passion for driving, hospitality, and looking after people, and over the years I realised there was a real difference between simply transporting clients and genuinely providing a luxury experience. That inspired me to create Executive Carriages.
I wanted to build a company where clients feel personally cared for, not just like another booking. My goal was to combine professionalism, reliability, and luxury with a warm, human approach that makes people feel comfortable and valued.
Starting my own business also gave me the opportunity to create the high standards of service I believe in, from immaculate vehicles and attention to detail, to flexibility, discretion, and building long-term relationships with clients from around the world.
