Emma was an absolute God send when I landed myself with a 6 month old, completely untrained Doberman. Her calm attitude was very reassuring for both of us and her drills were really helpful in getting and keeping his attention. I kept videos and was then able to repeat and practice at my own pace. What do you love most about your job?
Being out in nature with my favourite animals. It's the best job in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Wanting a more physically active life and being unhappy staring at a computer all day. I also prefer dogs to people.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because not only do I love animals but I'm also very responsible and will take care of your fur child like they're my own. It's an extremely responsible job, I take it very seriously.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Regular sanitization of myself, my vehicle and the dogs leads. When I'm training I wear a visor so people can still understand me fully while also adhering to government guidelines.
Walk and Train
Are you pushed for time? Do you need extra support with your training? Do you have to be in the office?
We offer training walks with an experienced behaviourist to work directly on your dog’s behaviour.
We’ll collect your dog directly from your home and journey to a variety of locations to proof your dog’s behaviour.
Sessions last between 1 - 3 hours depending on the location of training.
Dog Training
At Emilia O'Hara Dog Training, we provide dog training and behaviour adjustment to meet your specific requirements. Using the four quadrants of operant conditioning, we tailor training to your dog’s specific issues. Whether your pet requires puppy training, basic obedience or counter conditioning, (anxiety/fear/reactivity) we can assist. We’ll create a bespoke training plan to aid your dog’s development.
Boutique Board and Train Services
Emilia O'Hara Dog Training offer a private board and train option for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Emilia will welcome your dog into her home, making sure they’re cared for and loved whilst keeping consistent on house rules and new training skills.
