George contacted me very quickly (after I sent an initial message) and arranged for Daryl to come over to take a look at the job within a few hours.

A quote came through the same day and was very competitive. Daryl & team started work the same week and completed the removal of the current flat roof fibreglass (which had cracked over three years and caused several leaks) then installed a felt flat roof system over 5 days. Sam is very polite, tidy and a pleasure to have on site - It is rare and refreshing to find this.

We employed George to do some painting on the exterior of my elderly Mothers house. He finished a days work and asked my Mum to pay him promising to return to finish the job. My Mum trusted him and paid the amount. He said he would be back in the next couple of days as he lived round the corner. Weeks passed and many messages and promises to return. I finally threatened to leave a poor review if he did not return. He became abusive to me on the phone and went to my Mums house where he was heard by neighbours shouting at her. (she is an 80 years old widow). He did not bring the ladders to finish the job but still promised to return 2 weeks later. He did not. He doesn't return our message. He is a particularly unpleasant and dishonest man. Pretended to be nice until he got her money. Don't use this company. I really regret it!! More...

Strong winds blew states from my roof onto the pavement next to our property. it was a Sunday morning. I was concerned that further tiles could cause any pedestrian passing serious injury. I phoned the Edinburgh Roof Company. They responded immediately, came and made secure. The following day an emergency scaffolding permit was applied for. The job was finished the following day to my complete satisfaction. In this day and age it can be difficult to find tradesmen of yesteryear who have pride in their work and the service they provide. Got George in to replace the felt covering on the living room bay window last week. Arrived bang on time, did a great job at a very decent price. Very professional and pleasant guy. Also replaced a couple of roof tiles at no extra cost and gave us helpful advice about the roof's condition. I've had experience in the past with tradesmen trying to persuade us to have work done when we didnt really need it. George however was the opposite of this and said after inspecting the roof that there was no need to replace it and we should get several more years out of it. Top man. More...

Edinburgh roof company were really great, have fitted a top quality concrete tile roof on our house. George the project manager was on hand 24/7 to answer any questions we had, and explained all the details really well. Daryl and the crew who did the roof were superb, great attention to detail and workmanship, as well as polite and tidy guys. I had a catastrophic four-bucket leak in the valley of the roof on a 3-storey Victorian house. Got in touch with The Edinburgh Roof Company because they are a member of Checkatrade. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Within 24-hours they'd given me a quote and agreed a schedule of works to fit in with my availability. At the agreed time, scaffolding went up, job was done and scaffolding was down again in four days. A stand out part of the service was the level of communication. At every stage of the process I was kept informed about what was happening when. The roofers were considerate, unintrusive and cleaned up well after themselves. An excellent job.
