We absolutely love our new driveway and patio! The process from contacting them to having the block paving done couldn't have gone easier or quicker! (Do NOT use this company ,) I'm sure all these reviews are not genuine reviews, !!! Certainly NOT all of them !! - My experience, Dan came last Thursday and gave me a quote which seemed excessive. I very much felt pushed by him, ( oh he was very charming said he would give me lights and not charge me but I had to have him NOW , Starting as soon as the following Monday, - literally 4 days later to start the job! I have major health issues so yes I was kean to get the work done as I can't no longer do my garden , but he kept saying I can do you a deal if you let me start now)!! I explained I did not have the money till April upon my ISA Maturity. He kept pushing me to loose the interest as the deal of £35,000 was only if he could start in 4 days time and he would give me outside lights for free. However upon talking to my family and them being very concerned that he literally came on the Thursday and was wanting to start the job on the Monday, without a written quotation or without a Inventory, no & putting me under such pressure they phoned him and voiced there concerns He was extremely obnoxious ) - Rude) to my family when they phoned him, he only wonted to deal with me , when they raised there concerns they wonted the quote itemised which he was reluctant to do , just a figure out of his head I felt bullied , his rude obnoxious behaviour is well and truly not the way to be. I felt under immense pressure with this bullish behaviour , (Unbelievable, ) -definitely RED Flags! - Thank god I have my brother's and other family close by as they was absolutely shocked & really concerned upon telling them as I didn't won't them to be concerned , Hence Maybe because I was on my own he felt he could put me under such immense pressure. Thank god I ended up not going ahead as if this company is so good and the reviews are genuine reviews why is it he could start literally 4 days later without any plan, no itemised quote just a figure out of his head! Plus not saying I will leave it with you to think about, He could see I live on my own and vulnerable as I can no longer do my garden due to health issues , Since then I have spoken to another company which was a complete different experience, they provided a written quote and a itemised broken down quote, and a design also more important they said they can not start till Summer! No pushing me & no bullish behaviour. If all these reviews are genuine then why is it I was put under such extreme pressure, I would hate for another women to experience such pressure, to the point you feel you have to go ahead ! Free lights ,free little extras ect, ONLY if he they start straight away!!!! I feel obligated as a (warning & awareness) to others who may be desperate or needing there garden to be maintenance free, there drive needing doing . Shocking service, if you are thinking of using this company I would seriously reconsider! This is the first time I have ever added a review to a company but the appalling service I have received from this company has forced me to do so, so that I can at least warn others! I asked for an extension of tarmac to my driveway, the tarmac is not level, it is coming away, the plastic and hardcore underneath are visible in places, the edging is a trip hazard and it has sunk where the car sits. I have contacted the company on numerous occasions and they have reassured they will come and 'sort it'. I have cancelled plans and had a day off work when they promised to come but they have never turned up. This has been extremely frustrating and upsetting, I feel like I have been ripped off. After we had a burst water pipe under the drive and had to dig it up to replace it drive master came out at very short notice on Friday gave me a quote and and advised the best way to redo the drive as I park a heavy van on there he knew exactly what was needed and arrived Monday to a to a heap of mess that I had dug up. The lads set to work and cleared the pile and did all the work preping and laying the new drive to a brilliant standard they then cleaned and washed everything down you could not tell they had been. Huge thank you to Drive Master! We had a water leak, with resulted in my partner having to dig the drive up ( he made a big mess let’s be honest ) drive master came and gave us a quote, which he met all of our needs with this quote as we needed something strong to hold the weight of my partners van along with my car also! They then came first thing the Monday morning to start the work, they got rid of all my partners mess and started the work on the drive! I Returned home from work on the Monday and apart from the obvious of me now having my drive back, you honestly couldn’t tell they’d been as they’d left no mess behind whatsoever and cleaned all our front garden back up again ( I was quite worried with it being a messy job ) but I came home to a nice clean front and a beautiful drive! Really pleased with our new driveway from Drive Master.Excellent communication and made we were consulted throughout the renovation. Dan co-ordinated everything superbly and Andre and his team were amazing. They hardly stopped from the time they arrived until the drive was finished. Our drive renovation included taking down a 3 storey birch tree , and some mature shrubs then removing the old tarmac and block paving. They also set in place some Derbyshire gritstone kerbs and set a post to demarcate the border. This is an honest review from an honest customer, when all the lads first turned up I thought I hope the drive looks better than them (they were here to lay a drive not a fashion show) and I must say never judge a book by its cover these lads were brilliant , They worked really hard and was so polite it was unbelievable. Now to talk about the work carried out I had a very large drive. They dug it all out And hard-core it then a tarmac surface then on top of that was a Resin bound finish Which is absolutely beautiful, and when they finished They never left a scrap of rubbish. What can we say except wow. We originally saw another driveway and were impressed with what we saw and asked for a quote. The quote was done promptly and from agreeing to have the work done we were amazed at how professional and efficiently the job was done .
