We first met Amanda in September 2024 when she came to my home to meet my Labrador, Shadow. From that very first meeting it was clear how calm, kind, and genuinely caring she is with dogs.
I booked her immediately for a 10-night stay in December 2025 and, without hesitation, also booked numerous shorter stays throughout December 2024, February 2025, April 2025, June 2025 and October 2025.
During every stay, Amanda has kept in touch with thoughtful messages and regular photos, always checking in to make sure we were enjoying our holidays and days out. Shadow looks relaxed, happy and completely content in every picture, and he always returns home full of bounce, joy and in perfect health — clear signs that he has had a wonderful time.
What means the most to us is the trust Shadow clearly has in Amanda. When she comes to collect him, he goes eagerly and happily, which speaks volumes. Myself and the young boy I care for absolutely adore our beautiful black Lab — we’ve raised him since he was 10 weeks old — and leaving him with someone who cares for him as much as we do is priceless. It allows us to truly relax, knowing he is safe, loved and well looked after.
Amanda is reliable, warm, professional and incredibly kind. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional dog boarding. Shadow certainly can’t wait for his next stay.

My lab has not stayed yet as I have booked in advance, however! Felt I should mention the speedy contact, lengthy phone chat followed by a home visit to meet my boy. Amanda is extremely knowledgeable about all breeds, indepth forms provided so you can provide as much info as possible about your pet, (training words used) favourite games etc ... she put my boy at ease very quickly and assured me that she will follow my guidelines on care so that although in a different house, the same care and boundaries will apply consistantly throughout. This ensures that he will be secure and settled and returned to me with no bad habbits ! Amanda came to my house to groom Charlie but he was too nervous, of the noise of the clippers she tried always to try and make him relax but he was not having it. What inspired you to start your own business?
Having grown up around dogs and then bred them,I always felt I had an affinity with dogs which is why there was no doubt in my mind my path in life simply had to include working along side animals.
