I had one of Deltics electricians out and I just had to share that he was super friendly, professional & thoughtful.Always anxiety inducing allowing strange men in, however he was warm and smiley and I wasn't worried at all- I was impressed about how considerate he was working around the property whilst my toddler slept, also having worked the night shift I don’t think he realised how much I appreciated such a stress free interaction. Got a fault find service, person on the phone said it would take 30 mins, which it did. Charged for one and a half hours. We used Deltic Solutions to fit an EV charger to our home. The project was slightly tricky as the property is Grade 2 listed and in a conservation area so they needed to be particular in how the installation was carried out. We found them easy to deal with throughout, the quality of the work exceptional, and the speed of service excellent. The engineer did a great job and our intention was to get him back for some other jobs, which he had taken notes off. But will not be doing that because the service gotten from the rest of the team was very poor. And not all the job I had wanted was completed. Quoted only partly what I had asked and didn't communicate they could not achieve all I had requested, when they called me several times chasing for the job. Despite I had told the customer service lady I wanted the Aerial taken down. I got quoted only cables taken off. Fine I missed it, thanks to my chaotic life but it would have been great if I was told verbally just as I did when I requested the service quote on the phone. An oversight from my part for missing that in the quote but doesn't look good from your end. You were kin to get the job and called me several times but didn’t think it was relevant to tell me the engineer could not take down the aerials, which I specifically asked for and sent you pictures. Offering me few pounds off doesn't do anything for me. What I wanted done wasn't fully achieved. The exact floodlight I wanted was not fixed but I accepted a different type because I just wanted it done with. Clearly. The work done securing the around the blank plate is also not durable. Deltic installed a new induction hob in the kitchen, new down lights and an extractor fan in the bathroom, including core drilling the wall. The whole experience was very easy and stress free. I found them very professional from initial engagement to installation. I was consulted on exactly where and how I wanted things done and I’m very pleased with the standard of work completed. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend them again. Update 14/01/25 - Since my initial engagement and review I have gone on to use Deltic several times, they are my go to electricians. They’ve installed a new consumer unit, electricity to my small outbuilding, several lights, extraction in the kitchen, positive input ventilation in the loft/hall and even a video doorbell. I’ve always found them great to deal with, nothing is too much trouble and they are flexible and considerate around timings. I’ve never had to question the quote, it’s always clearly itemised, competitive and there are no hidden costs. If I want to add anything to or take anything off the quote, no problem. Given they are my go to electricians it goes without saying that the work they do is also to a high standard; I’m particular, so trust me. Mark has done most of the work at the property and he’s been great. He always discusses the work with me beforehand to make sure we are on the same page. If he can see a potential problem he’ll discuss the plan and if he thinks we might need to tweak things. If he encounters any unforeseen problems then he’s good at adapting, and again always discusses it with me before he goes ahead to make sure I’m onboard. I like the peace of mind I get with Deltic. I have enough things to juggle so it’s nice to use a company and know that I’m going to get what I want at a fair price, hassle free. More...
