There’s something incredibly rewarding about taking a space that feels flat, empty or overlooked, and transforming it into somewhere buyers instantly connect with. It’s not just about how it looks… it’s about how it feels the moment someone walks through the door.
I also love the people side of it. Whether it’s a landlord moving on from a rental, a developer bringing a project to market, or a homeowner ready for their next chapter — every property has a story, and I get to be part of that journey.
Knowing that I’ve helped someone sell faster, achieve a better price, or simply feel more confident about their sale… that’s the bit that never gets old.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Crystal Property Staging, founded by Deborah Sauvary, was born due to the success of purchasing and flipping properties in Wimbledon.
Deborah helped stage a friend’s properties for sale after viewers couldn’t envision the space for sale. What happened next, she didn’t expect. There was an influx of viewers and offers, and the property sold to the second offer, which was over and above the asking price. Offering more than any other property on the street, her lightbulb moment occurred.
However, it would be several years later before she would go on to found Crystal Property Staging. Unfulfilled in her corporate 9-5 job. Deborah knew that she was meant for something more and could achieve the same results for others as she did in her own properties.
She launched the business and staged over £4 million worth of property in her first year.
Deborah’s next goals include scaling Crystal Property Staging to a household brand in the UK, staging the nation, and doubling her own investment property portfolio.
