Catherine has been great! I felt in complete confusion over colour choices for my kitchen and hall and felt like my head was spinning! I had no idea what to do and with little time to ponder I was aware I had to make a decision soon. Catherine came over and her calm and friendly approach helped me to relax and be more decisive. What’s your interior design process?
I always like to start with a chat over the phone to find out about your interior design project, discuss how I can help you and answer any questions you may have. Following this you can book a design consultation where we will fully explore your project requirements; this is followed up with a design brief and inspiration board. If you wish to proceed I will send a fee proposal and contract and get started on your bespoke design. We will meet again for a presentation meeting where you will receive the designs and samples. One set of revisions is included in all packages.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I can work with any interior design style; it makes my work varied and interesting!
My personal design style is calm, simple and timeless, very much inspired by the countryside and elevated with touches of elegance.
My colour preferences are soft, muted, earthy tones of greens, pinks and neutrals. I like to introduce floral and striped pattern, natural materials and quality craftsmanship.
I love to add layers of texture through wooden paneling, natural textiles such as linen cushions and throws, timber flooring, marble worktops and aged brass hardware.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the mix of problem solving with the creativity of interior design. I love to see how a space can be completely transformed by considered design.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to have the flexibility to work for myself on a wide range of interior design projects.

Every project begins with a 90-minute on-site project scope consultation to explore your home, lifestyle, and design aspirations.
During this session, we’ll discuss:
- Your ideas and vision for the space
- How you currently use the room and any challenges
- Colours, materials, and style preferences
- Budget expectations and timescales
After the consultation, you’ll receive a summary report of what we have discussed. This report forms the design brief for the project going forward. You will also receive a quotation and a contract to confirm the scope of work and terms before moving into the next phase.
Phase 2 – Concept Design
This phase sets the creative vision and overall design direction for your space.
Deliverables include:
- Digital mood boards showcasing style, colour, materials and overall feel
- Presentation meeting to review the concept
This phase ensures the concept resonates with your vision before moving into detailed selection and sourcing.
Phase 3 – Design Development
This phase transforms the approved concept into a complete, detailed design scheme ready to implement.
