We chose this company over cheaper alternatives largely because of Callum Kerr, who was excellent from start to finish—knowledgeable, approachable, and willing to help even after installation. Neil and the installation team did a very good job and were quick and efficient. However, the office support was a real letdown.An inspection appointment was missed after an email went into spam, and despite it containing important information that required a response from me, no one called to check I had received it. As there is no phone support from Friday to Sunday, (which makes resolving issues impossible over a weekend), I had to wait 3 days before discovering that the inspection had been rescheduled for the following Friday, (5 days before the install!)They also threatened to not remove the scaffolding, withhold certificates and SEG paperwork until they had received payment, an unnecessary threat owing to my having already paid in full, when I responded as such, it took days to confirm the payment and weeks for the paperwork to arrive.Leaving all the packaging for disposal wasn't reasonable, especially a large pallet that I had to cut up with a saw to get into my car for disposal, I wonder how older customers would have coped with this?The scaffolding contractors were the biggest disappointment: rude, damaged fence panels and a garden light, and left debris behind.Great solar install, but the office and scaffolding experience really spoiled it. I highly recommend the whole process from start to finish .Callum was amazing in explaining how it works .The installation first class and after service excellent with Callum coming out and setting up our app with British Gas and guiding us with such patience he is such an asset to the company .We are 100/c happy

Last evening, a young man called Callum Kerr called in at my house as he was doing a leaflet drop around the village. We approached Carbon Saving Group with a specific specification of what we wanted for a 6kW Solar PV installation complete with 15kW of lithium batteries. Tom was the only supplier to actually come out to site and visit us before quoting, he was also one of the few who responded to our enquiry within a fairly short timescale, funnily enough he subsequently ended up getting the job! One of our particular concerns was the overall look and atheistic of the solar panels on the roof of our house. CSG were one of the few suppliers able to offer the GSE "in-roof" system, which allows the slates or tiles to be removed and for the solar panels to sit flush in the roof as part of it. We are very pleased we went with this system, not only is it watertight it also looks really good. Apart from the aesthetics we also had specific requirements regarding the hardware we wanted to use in the installation. CSG took all this in their stride...even though some of the hardware was new to them and outside of their normal scope, they worked with us and the manufacturers to get us the system we wanted installed. We are very pleased with the final outcome and thanks must go to the whole team, for putting up with us over over the job but especially to Neil, Mike, Kodi and Tom. Thank you! More...

Fantastic job from carbon saving group Had solar installed would highly recommend carbon saving group. Brilliant service from callum the surveyor visiting to kodi organising our installation and mike and his team doing a great job with the installation all kept to timing agreed got the job completed in 2 days even though the weather wasnt great they still cracked on with a smile on their face.

I am impressed with the timescales on evaluation, delivery and installation. The admin team are well co-ordinated and the installation engineers worked in cold wet and cold conditions with a cheery positive attitude. (more than I could manage) There was a concern over a technical aspect. We would have preferred this be addressed at the time of initial evaluation (3phase meter), but I suspect this would be true regardless of which company is used, as it is not common to most client bases and the engineer on site, did reach out to the DNO, the same day, to try and improve his understanding of the issue and offer some reassurance.
