I booked this company for an oven and extractor clean at a quoted cost of £165. The experience was deeply disappointing and left me feeling uncomfortable in my own home.

I am a single female living alone. From the moment he arrived, Mike’s behaviour was inappropriate and unprofessional. He made unsolicited comments about the size of my house, told me I was “too young” to own a property like it, and asked how much I had paid for artwork on my walls. These remarks were intrusive, irrelevant, and completely unacceptable from someone working alone inside a customer’s home.

He repeatedly claimed that he is one of only a few people in the country able to use the strength of chemicals he uses. This was not reassuring, particularly given the condition he left the oven in.

At the end of the clean, he briefly showed me the oven and said that any visible white residue could simply be wiped away with a tea towel. When I later went to use the oven to cook for my family, I wiped the base with a wet cloth and found it was still dirty. There was also clear white chemical residue left behind. I did not feel it was safe to cook food in it without cleaning it thoroughly myself.

Although he offered to return the following day, this was not a realistic solution. I needed to use the oven that day and had no choice but to re-clean it myself to ensure it was safe.

When I asked for a partial refund for the oven cleaning, given that I had effectively had to redo the work, this was refused. Instead, I was given a list of his business costs and told, “I offered you a re-clean, this is how business works.” No refund was provided. Further discussion was dismissed with, “I’m not getting into an argument.”

The standard of work was unacceptable. The conduct in my home was inappropriate. The response to legitimate concerns was dismissive and unprofessional.

Based on this experience, I strongly urge everyone to avoid using this person. I would not recommend allowing him into your home under any circumstances. More...

My next doors neighbour is 87 years old got Mike to do his drive get rid of weeds power washed put sand in between his flags and seal it all all he did was put weed killer down power washed TOOK £700 of my neighbour and has never been back to finish he stopped answering his phone to me didn't respond to my emails. Bark told me to inform police and citizens advice about him this has been going on since may so if anyone knows where he's from I would be very grateful because £700 is a lot to loose. Francis is the real deal. Our driveways were an eyesore. I kept doing the best I could, but with the hot days and rainy conditions it got too much. Francis aka Mick H, told us how he was going to do, credentials and a man of his word. Three days, weeds one minute, weed free later. The driveways, back garden look as good as if they have just been laid. Me and the wifester don't want to put our cars on the driveways. Francis M Hill is the real deal, for anyone who wants a weed free driveway and block paving. Our neighbours' next door were so impressed, they've booked CCS. Pleasant people and satisfied with job

They were on time,did a fantastic job of cleaning my cooker, left my kitchen clean and tidy. All together a first class job .would definitely use them again .

I found a little bit not totally clean, to be fair it wasn’t easy to see were it was, but Mike came back next day and made sure I was totally satisfied (to be fair I am very fussy) very happy now would highly recommend this firm

Oven cleaning was disgraceful. Went to use my oven a few days after cleaning and it was covered in grease back and sides. The tray was still full of grease. Ended up doing it myself and did a much better job. Would NOT recommend. More...

Hi Paul Sorry to hear you were not happy with the oven clean, we did have the oven inspected by the adult in the house at the time, who was satisfied with the results. As I stated the self clean liners can not be immersed in the cleaning solution as your manufactures warranty would be invalid. If you have had these removed before that maybe why they no longer have the stay clean coating. We did offer to come back and address any other concerns but uou declined. The cleaner was a lovely man who took great pains to get my grill and oven cleaned. He was meticulous. He was here for over two and a half hours. I was very happy with the end result, however I was a little disappointed with the grease still evident around extractor above the hob. This is why I didn’t give 5stars.

Honestly can’t recommend capital cleaning services enough! I’ve just moved into a new house and the oven was left absolutely filthy. I put the request out on bark and Mike contacted me really promptly, quoted me a great price for the work and was able to fit me in last minute to make sure my oven was clean in time for Christmas. Don't bother I had this company to clean my oven yesterday it cost 110.pounds which I thought was quite expensive but going by reviews and pictures I thought you would be getting a good service how wrong was I. My daughter was in and dealt with the service company. I came home to a dirty floor all dirt in sink from oven and when I came to inspect oven I was deeply disappointed dirty marks running between oven door and glass cooker knob now has now temperature numbers on it and imagine my shock when I opened oven door to find my oven door seal at the bottom missing .my husband contacted Mike really rude said cooker was old which is if you class has 7 years then yes and said when told about seal well you can get from from ebay for a fiver .
So now I've ordered one Mike which has cost me an additional 30.pounds so if you have more money than sense yes employee him but otherwise I suggest going elsewhere like I will be doing in future. I give them two stars one for turning up the other for answering phone More...

This is not the first cleaning service i have used but it is most definitely the best. Michael is so passionate about his work, nothing but his best will do. Over many years he has himself developed a range of products which in my opinion easily out perform the others. His claim is right, when he has finished your suite or carpet or oven will be as good as new. We were absolutely delighted with his work.
