Wow!! What a beautiful 2 tier chocolate birthday cake Sara created. It was easy to cut and very moist with plenty of chocolatey taste. Sara went above and beyond to give my niece a fantastic 13th birthday cake. We were worried about finding someone who could bake us a cake for a New Year’s Day birthday but Sara’s customer service is brilliant, she confirmed she could make this happen. Wow, well can I say, Sara said no problem and she delivered. The pictures she showed me of cakes to decide from and what I chose and she nailed the task of replicating a Minion cake for my 6-year-old's birthday party to a tee. I’m certain this will get taken down but I was blocked by her. I ordered a 40th cake for my daughter which was decorated okay but the top of the cake was awful, figure wasn’t what a requested and looked deformed, ‘books’ were blobs of icing and and the edges of the books on top were not even and looked very unprofessional. I messaged Sara as I was so upset and her reply was bring it back, leave it on the step as I’m not in and I’ll refund your I said that I had no way of getting another and would have to attempt to get this one sorted and I was blocked! Very unprofessional. My daughter - who does make cakes - had to sort her own cake out! Nowhere in can post photos so you can see why I’m so upset. I’m unable to respond to your comment Sara but I would like to set it straight that I did not agree the diagram you drew. I didn’t.want to resort to this review either but since you blocked me - I’m guessing so and can’t post pics - I had no choice. This is the 3rd time we have used Sarah for birthday cakes and we will DEFINITELY be returning to her for our daughters 21st next year , the cake she made for my 50th and my sons 21st joint party can only be described as AMAZING , not only in design , construction but taste too . I've taken boxes of cut cake into work and everyone Bar none have commented on how light fluffy and moist the cake is ..Sarah is Professional and makes her cakes to the highest standards . For what we think are extremely reasonable prices..we have used other but never found someone as reliable her her ...if we could give 10 stars we would . Keep up the good work . Once we have discussed a few ideas for the theme, she is able to design the most wonderful, unique and bespoke cakes that are just perfect for the occasion, making the whole process for the customer smooth and stress-free. The cakes have always been a focal point during the celebration, receiving countless compliments from guests throughout the day/evening. I have ordered cakes from several different professionals over the years, but Sara definitely is in a league of her own and I would not choose to go anywhere else. Highly recommended! We were fortunate enough to find Sara and Cakeywakey online and after a couple of emails, where she asked all about the birthday girl and favourite cake flavours, Sara then provided a ridiculously pretty sketch which looked incredible. When I came to collect the cake it looked even better in person. She'd taken all the details about the birthday girl and created a beautiful woodland scene cake full of nature references and flowers and birds and it tasted INCREDIBLE. Sara made an incredible greenhouse cake for my mums 50th birthday meal last night. It was a surprise so she worked with my dad to plan the design and she really did get it spot on! The sponge was lemon (mums favourite) however there was many flavours to chose from and Sara made the process a breeze. I couldn't recommend Sara enough. She made us a fabulous dinosaur cake for my sons 2nd birthday. She replied to my emails really quickly and sent me over some idea for us to choose from. This was also all done on very short notice which was a lifesaver. She not only delivered the most fantastic looking cake but it was absolutely delicious. We went for the strawberry milkshake option.
