Where do I begin, from the get go I knew from our first phone call that Alex understood what we wanted from our wedding photos and what he would capture on the day. Alex and Steve are such lovely guys, nothing seemed too much to ask for, from them. They were so accommodating to us and how the day was running, they were able to liaise with the venue to plan around the day when we were going to do photos, considering that timings changed. Alex went above and beyond, and even got my lipstick for me as he was going to the bridal suit to get a piece of his kit. The photos we have received from our sneak peak, are above and beyond our expectations! We cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding photos and share them with our family and friends. We would definitely recommend hiring Alex and Steve for wedding photography. They were a brilliant team for our wedding in Gloucestershire and made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera straight away. It rained all day on our wedding day, but it didn't matter at all about having all our photographs taken inside - they had all the equipment and lighting needed to make our photographs absolutely lovely. They provided great communication in the lead up to our wedding, and they took on our requests for specific photos we wanted taken. They were really friendly and all of our guests enjoyed chatting to them and having their photos taken. The platform they use to share our photos and where we can download them is really easy to use, and we were able to share this with our friends and family. We hired Bowden Photography, Alex and Steve for our 21st July 2023 wedding in South Wales.
Prior to the big day, we spoke with Alex a few times over the phone.
From the off, it was clear that Bowden’s photography were absolute professionals.
Their attention to detail was second to none.
We gave Alex some ideas of photos we would like, and he gave us some of his ideas.
On the day, Alex attended our home where my wife was getting ready, while Steve attended my Mother’s, where I was.
Together, they not only settled our nerves but captured some of the most beautiful pre wedding shots.
Steve was amazing with our kids, making them feel as special as we felt. They loved their own photoshoots.
Alex, too, was brilliant throughout the morning.
Throughout the ceremony, reception and evening, they remained constant, but in the background. At no time did we feel that Alex or Steve were in the way. That takes something special, considering how many photos we have.
Their attention to detail, professionalism and the fact that they are genuinely nice people, make Bowden’s photography a must for anyone considering having a photographer for their big day.
We are totally blown away with how amazing our photographs are. They are perfect.
It’s always a worry that a photographer may not be up to scratch, as your wedding cannot be recreated, but trust us, Bowden’s are amazing. The quality and beauty of the photos are breathtaking. We are so, so pleased that we chose them.
We would like to thank Bowden’s photography for being amazing.
We won’t look anywhere else, should we need the services of a photographer again.

Alex and Steve dad an amazing job photographing our winter Wedding in December - so pleased with the finished results -stunning photos to treasure forever. The planning process and communication before hand via email/video call was easy and reliable, with honest and very reasonable quotes to help us work within our budget. Meeting them on the day was a pleasure - they are so warm and friendly making us feel very relaxed from the beginning and many of our guests remarked how lovely they were. After the more formal photos I was hardly aware of their presence throughout the day, but they were working away in the background capturing some beautiful candids of us and the guests which are some of my favourite photos of the day. We booked Bowden photography through the Bark website and couldn't be more pleased that we did, you get 2 professional photographers who work extremely hard all day, they're a lovely, friendly father and son duo who made us feel really comfortable on a very stressful day. My guests also commented on how lovely they both are and how hard they worked.
They've provided us with nearly 2000 photos from our 8hrs with Alex and Steve which is proving difficult to whittle down to 120 of our favourites for a wedding album!
