What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Better Bookkeeping Solutions because I could see many growing businesses needed more than basic bookkeeping. They needed practical support, better systems and clearer processes behind their accounts. My aim was to build a business that helps clients stay organised, reduce manual admin and make better decisions, while also creating a healthier work-life balance for myself and the team.

Yes. Our service is designed to work online and remotely. We use cloud accounting software, secure file-sharing tools and digital communication so clients can send information, review queries and access reports without needing paper records or in-person meetings. Most meetings are held by video call, but face-to-face meetings can be arranged where useful.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our bookkeeping process is largely cloud-based, so we rarely need to handle physical paperwork or meet in person. Clients can share documents digitally, attend meetings by video call and access their accounting information online.
